and nigber and your Petitioner as in duty bound shall always pray Ambross Riggin To the worshipfull Justices of Somerset County Now Sitting The Petition afd being Read and heard and fully understood and Mature deliberation thereupon had Wherefore it is Considered by the Justices here that the afd Ambross Riggin turn the Road according to the direction of Teague Riggin the overseer of the Same Road and Likewise that the Said Ambross Riggin make the new Road Passable and good as the old & Ordered by the Court that John Woods who Came to this Court to Chose his Guardian Return home with Adam Spence Jun.r and Continue till next Court and then to appear in order to Chose his Guardian &c
of Larger Wages upon which your petitioner did leave the said Beavins he not having Received any part of his pay tho' served about Six months of his time aforesaid Upon which departure Your worships Petitioner was taken by the Said Beavins and sold for One Year and a halfe unto Mr Ralph Colbin of the Same County this Colbin sells linen again to M.r William Burton of this County and having Served him some time he the Said Burton sells him to Richard Polltony of Sussex County & yt Said Polltony sells him to M.r John Dennis Jun.r of ye County and M.r Dennis sells ^him^ to William Marchment of said County & said Marchment sells him To M.r John Stewart of ye County Merch.t Where Your Petitioner now is Detained as a serv.t so y.t Your Petitioner in Stead of Serving one Year had served almost second seven Therefore Your worships Petitioner Humbly Prays Your Worships would be pleased to Take ye SAme into your Worships Consideration & sells Your Petitioner at Liberty as also to order Your Petitioner Some In all wages from his Severall Masters to Cloath himselfe he not haveing recd one penny from any of them all & your worships Petitioner as in Duty Bound will pray William Vaan The petition aforesaid being read and heard and fully understood and mature deliberation thereupon had and Likewise heard the Severall Evidences on Oath declared on both sides as well on the part of the Petitioner as on the part of the said John Stewart as also the severall [illegible] of the parties themselves &.c Wherefore it is Considered by the Justices here that the afd William Vaughan be discharged from the Service of the afd John Stewart and that the Indenture by which ye Same William Vaughan is held as a Servant is not Sufficient to detain him in service any Longer and further it is Considered by the Court here that the afd Wm Recover against the afd John Stewart two hundred and fourteen pounds of tobacco for his Costs and Charges by him to the same Wm by the Court here adjudged &c Ordered by the Court here that Isaac Coston be overseer further than his Usuall Limitts along the Road to Plunketts Branch &c
