49 makes choice of ye Said William Planner as her Guardian thereupon it is ordered by the Court here that a Certain Robert Ware of the County of Somerset deliver up unto the afd William Planner all the estate that he hath in his hands or Custody both reall and personall that doth belong unto the afd Sarah Kirke and that the said Wm Planner Receive the Same &.c Whereupon it is ^further^ ordered by the Court that the aforesaid William Planner Give recognizance in thirty pounds Ster with two Securitys in thirty pounds Sterling Each to comply with the Guardian ship afd Thereupon the Said William Planner with Levin Gale and Thomas Hayward his Securitys all present herein court in their proper persons acknowledged them Selves to Owe & Stand Justly Indebted unto the Said Sarah Kirke to witt the Said William Planner in the Sum of thirty pounds Ster and the Said Levin Gale and Thomas Hayward his Securitys in the Sum of fifteen pounds Sterling Each of their Severall Goods and Chattells Lands and tenements for the Use of the Said Sarah Kirke her heirs or assignes ^to be made & Levied^ if default be made in the Condition hereunder Written &c The Condition of the above Recognizance is Such that if the above bounden William Planner do and Shall well and truly Comply with the Law in Relation to Guardians and ^likewise^ when the Said Sarah Kirke shall arrive at full age to receive her Estate that then he ye Said William Planner Shall deliver the Same Estate both reall and personall unto ye Said Sarah Kirke peaceably and Quietly &c Then the above Recognizance to be void and of none Effect otherwise &c
Richard Gore may be adjudged to Serve him for Six hundred and Ninty pounds of tobacco for Expences & Charge in pursuit after ye Said Richard Gore when Runaway &c Whereupon it is Considered by the Court that the Said Richard Gore Serve his Said Master for the fifteen days Runaway time as afd after the Rate of Six days for every day he was Runaway as aforesaid which amounts in the whole to Ninety days as also the Said Richard Gore is adjudged to Serve his Said master for the aforesaid Six hundred and ninety pounds of tobacco paid as aforesaid; four months which Said Service of the afd Richard Gore adjudged by the Said Court to Serve his Said Master for ye runaway time and tobacco paid amounts in the whole to Seven month which Said Service to Commence at the day of the date of these presents &c
of which Servitude and dureing the time his Said Mistress undertakes to Educate and being up or Cause to be Educated and brought up in the trade of a Cordwainer her Said apprentice and Likewise to read well in the bible and at the Expiration of his Servitude Give him a two Years old heifer and a new Suit of apparell over and above his every day wearing apparell and Likewise find and provide for her Said apprentice During his Servitude Sufficient meat drink washing Lodging and Cloath mete for Such an apprentice to have & wear &c Whereupon it is ordered by the Court here that the afd Eliza Nicholson Give Recognizance in twenty pounds Currant money with One Security in twenty pounds Currt mony for to Comply with ye Covenants afd &c Whereupon |
