or tenements seperately to be made and Levied if default be made in the Condition here under written &c

          The Condition of the above Recognizance is Such that if the above bounden Silas Chapman do and Shall well and
truely Learn the aforesaid Elijah Chapman during his servitude afd the trade of a Shoemake and to Read, write and Cypher and
at the Expiration of his Servitude, Give him a Set of Shoemakers tools and Likewise find and provide for his said apprentice
meat drink washington Lodging and apparell mete for Such an apprentice to have & wear during his Servitude afd then the above
Recognizance to be void & ^of none^ effect otherwise to Stand ^&^ remain in full force & virtue in Law &c

Moses Chapman son of Edward Chapman Late of of Somerset County dec.d is
bound by the Court of his own Consent an apprentice unto Humphry Chapman untill he arrives at
the age of twenty one Years the Said Moses being of the age of fourteen Years Last December the
Said apprentice to Serve his Said Master the full term of time aforesaid in Such Lawfull or reasonable Service as he
Should Imploy him in or about &.c   In consideration of which Service the Said Master undertakes for to Learn or Instruct
or ^will^ Cause to be Learnt or Instructed his Said apprentice during his Servitude the trade of a plaisterer and to Read write
and Cypher and at the Expiration of his Servitude to give his Said apprentice a new Suit of Cloaths and LIkewise find &
provide for his Said apprentice meat drink washing Lodging and apparrell Sufficient for Such an apprentice to have &
wear during his servitude aforesaid &c
                                                             Thereupon it is ordered by the Court here that the aforesaid Humphry
Chapman Give Recognizance with One Security in fifty pounds Ster ^each^ Good and Lawfull mony of England for to
comply with the Covenants aforesaid
                                                          Whereupon the Said Humphry Chapman with Robert Watson his Security
both present herein court in their proper persons acknowledged themselves to Owe and Stand Justly Indebted unto
the Said Moses Chapman in the Sum of fifty pounds Sterling each Good and Lawfull money of England of their Goods
and Chattells Lands and tenements seperately to be made and Levied for the Use of the Said Moses Chapman his heirs
or assigns if default be made in the Condition hereunder written &c

                      The Condition of the above Recognizance is Such that if the above bounden Humphry Chapman

          To the worshipfull the Justices of Somerset County now in court Sitting the humble
          petition of Thomas Bishop most humbly Sheweth              That whereas your poor
Petitioner by mischance hath Lost the use of his Right Arm and is thereby Rendered uncapable
       of Getting his Liveing by bodily Labour her therefore prays your worships in your Great Goodness
       will pleas to Order that for the time to Come he may be tax free and your poor helpless petitioner in duty
    bound will pray                                                                                 Thomas Bishop

                                                The petition aforesaid being Read and heard and fully understood and mature deliberation
    thereupon had
                                           therefore it is Considered by the Court here that the aforesaid Thomas Bishop befor this
    Year Ensuing tax free &c


Sarah Kirke
Chose her Guardian
  Sarah Kirke an Orphan being arrived at full age for to Chos her Guardian comes
into court and prays that She may be admitted to Chose W.m Planner of Somerset
County Gent as her Guardian which is Granted &c    thereupon the Said Sarah Kirke
