Your worships would take such methods as you will think most Convenient for Clearing and Causway and road down the said Neck and your
petitioners will for your beaver bound to pray   John Wates, David Willson, Laz.a Maddox, William Waters, Nicho Fountain

To the worshipfull Justices of Somersett County in Court Sitting
                         The petition aforesaid being Read and heard and fully understood and Mature deliberation thereupon had   Wherefore it is
Considered and ordered by the Justices here that David Willson William Turpin Jeffry Long and John Waters of Somerset County
Gentleman mete at a time by them to be appointed at the place aforesaid and Lay out a new Road down the neck between Back Creek
and Annamessex through the middle thereof ^from the road that Leads from Mr Ephraim Willsons to annamessex^ the said Road to be Laid out of most Convenience and Least of prejudice to any
persons whatsoever and the same New Road so as afd to be Laid out to be Cleared Causwayed and kept good by the afd David
Willson and Jeffry Long overseer of the roads and their Labourers &c

          To the worshipfull Court now sitting the petition of John Onorton sheweth          Whereas your humble
petitioner about two years agoe bought a negro man which by the hand of Providence hath been afflicted
with Lameness in both his armes and in one of his hipps thereby he is disabled from doing any service or to feed himselfe
or to put on his Cloaths to the great damage of your petitioner and Living a great way from Court and Could not bring him
before the worshipfull Court therefore brought him before Capt John Smith who can Inform your worships of his Condition and
Your humble petitioner prays that he may be released from paying taxes for the above said Negro and your Petitioner as in
duty bound shall ever pray                  The petition aforesaid being Read and heard and fully understood and mature deliberation
thereupon had  Wherefore it is Considered by the Justices here that the aforesaid John Onorton be discharged for the future
from paying of taxes for the negro aforesaid as by the petition aforesaid is praid &c


Upon the mocon of Levin Gale of Somerset County Esq.r and Clerk of the Indictments for the County afd to have
Liberty to Exhibitt an Information against a Certain Philip Selby of the County afd Gentleman for fixing or Setling a bounder
on the Land of a Certain John Sturges, Contrary to the act of assembly in Such Case made and provided &.c   Whereupon it
is Considered by the Justices here that the afd Levin Gale have Liberty to Exhibit an Information against the aforesaid
Philip Selby as by the afd motion is prayd &c

                         To the Worshipfull his Lordships Justices for somerset County now in Court Sitting
                                           The humble Petition of John Tull sheweth               that your petitioner is
possest with a small tract of Land whereon there is but very Little that is plantable and your petitioner
being deprived of the benefit of the same by reason of the County Road Running thro' the back of your petitioners
Land so that it is Impossible your petitioner can make bread sufficient for himselfe and familys sufferance your
petitioner is willing to Clear an Other Road as good as the now present Road on the Lower side of your petitioners plantation
therefore your petitioner humbly prays your worships will be pleased to take the Same into consideration and prays your
worships will give order for the Removing the same &.c and your petitioner as in duty bound will pray

Arthur Warwick, Caleb Harris, Joseph Riggin Edward Harper, Joseph Wood, Teague Riggin Robert Harris

                   The petition aforesaid being Read and heard and fully understood and mature deliberation thereupon had  Whereof
it is Considered by the Justices here that the afd John Tull have Liberty turn the Road as by the petition afd is pray he first
making the new Road as good and passable as the old &c


The Justices here according to act of assembly in Such Case made and provided took the oath appointed by the Same act of
assembly for Judge or Justice to be taken and that their places on the bench &c


Edward Kellum appointed Overseer of the Roads in Nanticoke Hundred in the stead of Gabriell Cooper and
to Clear and Causway According to his Usuall Limitt &c
