John nor can she say but that the said Hugh Porter in his Lifetime did assume upon himselfe in manner and form
as the afd John above against her hath Complained and as to the damage of the Same John by him by Occasion
of the premisses in that part Sustained the same Mary saith and Confesseth that the afd John has Sustained
damages by Occasion of the premisses further than his Costs and Charges by him about his suit in that part
apposed to Twenty Seven pounds five shillings and three pence three farthing Currant money of Maryland
and noe more to be Levied of the goods and Chattells which were of the afd Hugh Porter at the time of his death
and when to the hands of her the afd Mary shall happen to Come to be administred together with his Costs and Charges
afd to him to be adjudged &c which the said plft doth not gainsay &c

             Therefore by Consent of the parties aforesaid is it Considered that the afd John Stewart Recover
against the afd Mary Porter Exrx of the afd Hugh Porter his damages afd to the afd Twenty Seven
pounds five shillings and three pence three farthings Currant Money of Maryland by the Same Mary in form afd
414   Confessed as also four hundred & fourteen                                     pounds of tobacco for his Costs and
charges by him about his Suit in that part apposed by the Court here adjudged to be Levied of the goods
and Chattells which were of the afd Hugh at the time of his death and which to the hands of the afd Mary
hereafter shall happen to Come to be administred & the afd Mary in Mercy &c

                                     Isachar Wilcox late of Somerset County Merchant
was attached to answer unto Thomas Fletcher of a plea of trespass upon the
Case &c
                                                          And Whereupon the Said Thomas by Francis Allen his Attry
Complains that Whereas the said Isacher the first Day of Nov.r Anno Dom Seventeen hundred &
thirty two at Somersett County aforesaid within the Jurisdiction of this Cor.t had accounted together
with him the said Thomas for Sundry Sums of mony to the Said Thos by the Said Isacher before
that time due owing & unpaid and upon that Acc.t the said Isacher was found in Arrear to
him the said Thomas in the Sum of fifty Nine pounds ten Shills Curant mony of Maryland and
being so thereof Indebted the said Isacher the day and year aforesaid at the place aforesaid in Consideration
thereof upon himself did assume and to the said Thomas then and there did faithfully
promise that he the said Isacher the said fifty Nine pounds ten shillings to the said Thomas when
he should be afterwards thereunto Requested he would well and faithfully pay and Content
Nevertheless the Said Isacher his promise and assumption aforesaid in form afs.d made nothing
Regarding but plotting and fraudulently Intending the said Thomas in that Part Craftily and Subtily
to deceive and Defraud the said fifty pounds ^ten shillings^ to the Said Thomas altho the same to Do the said Isacher
by the said Thomas on the aforesaid first Day of November in the year aforesaid and often
afterwards at Somersett County aforesaid within the Jurisdiction aforesaid he was
thereunto requested hath not payd or Contented but the Same to him hitherto to pay
or Content hath refused   And still doth refuse and Deny To the Damage of the Said
