                                       The Jurors for the right honrble the Lord Proprietary that now is &c for
the body of Somerset upon their Oath do present that John Goldsmith Late of Somerset County
             planter the twentieth day of January in the year of our Lord One thousand seven hundred and thirty two
with force and Armes in ye County of Somerset afd within the Jurisdiction of this Court twelve hoggs of the value of
Six shillings ^Curr money of Maryland^ Each Hogg of the goods and Chattells of a Certain Alice Roach then and there found then and there
feloniously stole took an Carried away against the peace of the Right honrble the Lord Proprietary and also
against the form of the act of assembly in that Cae made and provided &c

                      Thereupon Command was given to the sher of Somerset County that he should take the said John Goldsmith
if &c to answer &c    And afterwards in the same Court to witt the twentieth day of June ann.o Dom one thousand
seven hundred and thirty three before the Justices of his Lordships County Court of Somerset at dividing Creek afd
Came here the afd John Goldsmith and Robert Jenckins Henry his Lordships attorney who for his said
Lordship in that part followeth and saith that he will no further prosecute against the afd John Goldsmith
for the same twelve Hoggs   Therefore As to the afd twelve hoggs the afd John Goldsmith be quiett and
go thereof without day &c    Whereupon the said John Goldsmith is ordered to give security for the Severall
Officers Fees due by occasion of the premisses thereupon a Certain David Brown Sen.r of Manocan present
herein Court undertakes for the Said John Goldsmith for to pay the Severall Officers their fees due by means of
the premisses afd &c    Test Henry Ballard Jas Finch   one the backside of the foregoeing bill of Indictment
                                                                            it was thus Endorsed Vizt Billa Vera   Jno Donelson foreman

County planter the Second day of may in the Year of Our Lord One thousand Seven hundred &
thirty three with force and armes &c at the County of ^somerset afd^ within the Jurisdiction of this Court in and upon a Certain
John Wood in the peace of God and the afd Lord proprietary then and there being an assault did make
and him then and there did beat wound and Evilly Intreat so that of his Life it was greatly
despaired and Other Enormitys to him the said John there did do to the Grievevous damage of
him the said John and against the peace of the Right honrble the Lord proprietary of this province his
good rule and Government &c
       Test   John Wood and Parthena Hammond

          On the backside of the foregoing bill of Indictment it was thus Endorsed viz.t Ignoramus Jas Rownd forem
          ordered to give security for fees   Jas Schofeild Sery for Fees &c

                Parthenia Hammon appears according to her Recognizance to give Evidence against John
Schofeild and was accordingly discharged &c
