accordingly discharged Whereupon the said Andrew Thompson is Ordered to give New Recognizance for his good behaviour and appearance at August Court Next &c but for want thereof said Andrew Thompson is Committed into the Custody of the sher of Somerset County thereto Remain &c Afterwards in the Same Court Came the Said Andrew Thompson in Custody of the sher of Somerset County with a Certain Revell Horsey of Somerset County planter his Security and acknowledged themselves to be Indebted unto his Lordship the Right honrble the Lord Proprietary in the Sum of ten pounds Sterling Each of their goods and Chattells Lands and tenements to the Use of his said Lordship his heirs and Successors ^severally^ to be made and Levied If it happen that the afd Andrew Thompson do not make his personall appearance before the Justices of his Said Lordships County Court of Somerset to be held at dividing Creek the third tuesday of August next And do not answer unto his said Lordship of and Concerning such matters and things as shall be then & there objected against him on his said Lordships behalfe and do not stand and abide the Judgm.t of the Court thereupon and do depart the Same Court without Leave thereof and is not in the mean time of the good behaviour towards his said Lordship and all others his good people &c
One thousand seven hundred and thirty three at Somerset County afd within the Jurisdiction of this Court in and upon a Certain James Shirley in the peace of God and the afd Lord proprietary then and there being an assault did make and him did beat wound and evilly Intreat so that of his Life it ^was^ greatly despaired and other harmes to him the said James then and there offered to the great damage of him the ^said^ James and against the peace of the Right Honrble the Lord proprietary of this province his Good Rule and government &c Thereupon Command is given to the sher of Somerset County that he should take the said Richard Driskill if &c to answer &c and afterwards in the Same Court to witt the twentieth day of June anno Dom One thousand Seven hundred and thirty three before the Justices of the Same Court Came the afd Richard Driskill in his proper person according to a Certain Recognizance by him and his Securitys in that part before Confessed and had a hearing of the Information ^afd^ and thereupon the said Richard Driskill says that of the premisses afd above upon him Imposed he is guilty thereof and putts himselfe upon the favour of the Court &c whereupon all and Singular the premisses by the Court here seen heard and fully understood and mature deliberation thereupon |
