Thereupon as to the Corporall punishm.t afd Command is given to the sher of Somerset County that he do thereof Immediate
Execution &c and afterwards in the Same Court the said sher returns that he had done the Execution of the Judgmt afd
as to the Corporall punishment afd he was Commanded &c    thereupon the said Sarah Gorde is ordered to give sery
for the Severall Officers their Fees due by Occasion of the premisses afd but for want thereof the Said Sarah Gorde
is Committed into the Custody of the Sher of Somerset County there to remain &c the said sher to witt Joshua Caldwell
Gent present took Charge of ye Said Sarah Gorde accordingly &c

                                    Be it Remembred that on the twentieth day of June anno Dom one thousand
Seven hundred and thirty three Came here into Court before the worshipfull William
Fasit and his associats Justices of the Same Robert Jenckins Henry Gent who prosecutes for the Lord proprietary
and gives the Court to understand and be Informed that a Certain Esther Powell did Committ fornication
and had born of her body a bastard Child on or about the tenth day of March anno Dom One thousand seven
hundred & thirty One in the County afd within the Jurisdiction of this Court Contrary to act of assembly in such
made and provided &c
                                                                     Thereupon Command was Given to the sher of Somerset County
that he should take the said Esther Powell if &c to answer &c    and afterwards on the twenty first day of June
Anno Dom One thousand Seven hundred and thirty three Came here into Court the said Esther Powell in her proper
person and had a hearing of the Information afd and being Instantly demanded how she would acquitt herselfe
of premisses afd says that of the premisses afd above upon her Imposed she is Guilty thereof and makes
Oath that a Certain Henry Oneal is the begetter of the Child she Stands Informed against but hath nothing to
pay her fine for the fact afd &c
                                                   Wherefore it is Considered by the Justices here that the afd Esther Powell be
whiped at the publick whiping post with fifteen Lashes on the bare back well Laid on untill the blood
appear and that she be taken &c and thereupon as to the Corporall punishment afd  Command is given to the
sher of Somerset County that he do thereof Immediate Execution by whiping of the afd Esther Powell at
the publick whiping post with fifteen Lashes on the bear back well Laid on untill the blood appear &c and
afterwards in the Same Court the sher returns that he had done the Execution of the Judgmt afd as to the Corporall
punishment afd he was Command &c    thereupon the said Esther Powell is ordered to give Security for the paymt
of the Severall Officers Fees due by means of the premisses afd thereupon a Certain Randall Long of Somerset
County planter present herein Court undertakes for to pay the severall Officers their fees due as afd &c

We the Jurors for the Right honrble the Lord proprietary for the body of Somerset County do
present Ann More for bearing of a bastard Child in Coventry parish some time in November Last
past     Information being given to us by Capt John Smith the 21.st day of March 1732/3

       Thereupon Command was given to the sher of Somerset County that he should take the said Ann More if &c to answer &c
       and afterwards in the Same Court Came the said Ann More in her proper person here to witt Ninteenth day of
