Sarah Givans
Guardian to
Jane Givans
 Sarah Givans of Somerset County Spinster present here in Court is appointed as
Guardian unto Jane Givans an orphan under the age of fourteen years &c
     And it is ordered by the Same Court that the said Sarah Givans take into her Care & possession
the afd Orphan and all her Estate both real and personall and further it is Ordered that
the said Sarah Givans give recognizance with One Security for to Comply with the Guardianship afd

                Thereupon the said Sarah Givans with John MccClester of Somerset County Gent her security both
present herein Court in their proper persons acknowledged themselves to Owe and be Indebted unto
the said Jane Givans in the Sum of forty pounds Sterling Joyntly and Severally of their bodys goods
or Chattles Lands or tenements to be made and Levied to the Use of the said Jane Givans her heirs
or assignes   If it happen that the said Sarah Givans do not Comply with the Laws in relation
to the Guardianship afd and do not deliver up unto the said Jane Givans her heirs or assignes all her
estate both real and personall that she shall have in her hands and possession peaceably and quietly
when ever the Same shall be Legally required &c


Drake Drummond
  bound to
Levin Gale Esq.r
     Drake Drummond son of Drake Drumond Late of Somerset County
dec is by the Court here of his Own Free Consent bound by the Court unto Levin
Gale Esq untill he arrives at the age of Twenty One Years the said Drake Drummond
the Younger being Fifteen Years of age the Eleventh day of august Next the said
Drake Drummond the Younger to Serve his said Master the full term of time afd during which
time the said apprentice his said Master well and faithfully shall do and in all things as a good and faithfull
Servant shall demean himselfe towards his said Master and all his during the term afd &c

                In consideration of which Service the said Levin Gale Esq.r present herein Court in his proper
person Covenanteth with the Justices of the Same Court in Court Judicially Sitting on behalfe of the
afd Drake Drummond the Young^er^ that he the Said Levin Gale during the term afd will Endeaver & Cause
that his said apprentice during the term afd shall be taught or Instructed in the art of Navigation so
far as may be Sufficient to Navigate a vessell a Cross the Seas from One Seaport to an other
and Likewise provide for his said apprentice meat drink washing Lodging and Cloathing and all other
Necessarys Sufficient for Such an apprentice to have and wear during the term afd &c

       Whereupon it is ordered by the Court here that the afd Levin Gale Esq give Recognizance with
    One Security for to Comply with the Covenants afd &c       thereupon the said Levin Gale Esq with
    Thomas Hayward his Security both present here in Court in their proper persons acknowledged themselves
