           June Court           1733                     296

David Brown Sen.r of the County afd his Gardian which is granted him &c   Thereupon the said John Smith
present here in Court as afd did make make Choice of the said David Brown as his Gardian &c

       It is ordered by the Court here that the said David Brown give Recognizance with One Security
for to Comply with the Gardianship aforesaid &c and Likewise that the Said David Brown take
under his Care and Custody all the estate of the said John Smith both real and personall &c

                Thereupon the said David Browne with Henry Ballard of Somerset County Gentleman his
Security both present here in court in their proper persons acknowledged themselves to Owe and
Stand Justly Indebted unto the said John Smith in the Sum of twenty pounds Sterling good and Lawfull
money of England of their bodys goods or Chattells Lands or tenements Joyntly and Severally
to the Use of the said John Smith his heirs and assignes to be made and Levied   If it Happen
that the afd David Brown do not Comply with the Law in relation to the Guardianship afd &
do not deliver up unto the said John Smith his heirs or assignes all his Estate both reall &
personall that he shall have in his hands or possession peaceably and quietly whenever the same
shall be Legally Required &c


          Whereupon it is Ordered by the Court here that the sher of Somerset County return a pannel
of Grand Jurors Immediately to Enquire for the body of the County afd on behalfe of his Lordship

                Thereupon Proclamation being made in Common form and the sher of Somerset County
to witt Joshua Caldwell Gent being called made return of the pannell of Grand Jurors as followeth vizt
James Rownd, Robert Givans, Edmond Hough, Thomas Carey, John Shockley, John Pope, George Maglamory
Benjamin Venables, Daniel Cordery John WIlliams, William Catlin William Turpin Jun.r W.m
Gray manoken Johnson Hill John Reddish Robert Hall, David Brown Philip Adams, James
Dashiell Jun.r Jacob Cordery and George Benston and whereupon proclamation being made
againe in Common form and the Jurors aforesaid so as afd Impannelled being Severally Called over
by their Names did appear as above and thereupon they were sworn and Charged and Sent Out to
Consider soon after the Jurors afd so as afd Impannelled Sworn and Charged as aforesaid Return
hereinto Court and being Severally Called Over did appear and deliver to the Same Court here the
Following Indictment and presentments to witt Indictment against Edmond Dickerson and presentment
against Henry Oneal and Mary Glaster thereupon the grand Jurors afd are discharged and
ordered that they be allowed five hundred pounds of tobacco for their publick service this Court to be
paid next Levy Court and against the afd Edmond Dickerson, Henry Oneal and Mary Glaster so as
afd presented and Indicted  It is Ordered that Capias Issue against them Returnable to Next
Court &c
