being Sworne as afd Saith that he has often ^seen^ a marked Beach which Stood
Near the Place where the Sasefris Stake aforesd now Stands and that he believes
not above ten foot from the SAme spott which he has been told was one of the Bounder
Trees of the Land aforesd Called Olivers Portion

Archibald Deal aged forty three Years being Sworn on as afd Saith that within ten or twelve
foot of the Sasefrise Stake aforesd there Stood a marked Beach ^stump^ which as he was told
by Marget Scolfield and Hugh Tingle Sen was the Second Bounder of the Land
Called Olivers Portion and at the Request of the aforesd Margit Scholfield he the
said Deal New Mark.t two sides of the ^said^ beach and further saith Not

Thomas Gray aged Twenty five years being by us Sworn as aforesd Saith that about
forty foot to the Eastward of the aforesd Sasefris Stake Stood a Beach Stump which
he was Stold when he was a boy but Cannot Remember by whome) was the Second
bounder of the aforesd Land Called Olivers Portion but Saw no marks thereon and further
Saith not      Depositions of Wittnesses taken upon the Land aforesd Called olivers
Portion by us the Subscribers being first Duly Qualified According to Law this 12

                               and Edward Rownd all of Somerset County Gent Greeting Know Ye that we have appointed
You or any three or two of you to be Our Commissioners to Examine Evidences on behalfe of a Certain
Hutton Hill of the County afd in Relation to the bounds of a tract of Land Called Bar Stable Lying in Somerset
County we therefore require you or any three or two of you at Some time and place as to you or any three
or two of you shall seem Convenient you meet on the aforesaid Land called Barstable (your first having taken
taken your Oaths on the holy Evangelist of Almighty God according to act of assembly in Such Case made and provided)
and there Cause to Come before your or any three or two of you all Such Evidences as shall be to you
or any three or two of you nominated by the said Complainent or deft if any and that you or any three or
two of you Examine them upon their Corporall Oaths to be by you or any three or two of you administred
on the holy Evangelist of Almighty God in the presents of the Complainant or deft if any touching the truth
or Remembrances of their knowledge or any thing that may Relate to the Cause aforesaid and that reduceing
the Severall depositions into writing you send the Same together with Our Commission under your
