Hinges taken away and your petitioners plantation Left as Common I humbly pray your worships to Grant me
Liberty to turn the Said Road where it will be Less damage to your petitioner and nearer for the Inhabitants and
as good away and your petitioner as in duty bound shall ever pray &c

       The petition aforesaid being Read and heard and fully understood and Mature deliberation thereupon had
            Wherefore it is Considered by the Justices here that the Said Southy Whittington turn the Road as
by the petition aforesaid is praid and that the Old Road be Left Open for travellers untill the new Road be
made as near and good and passable as the old   and further it is ordered by the Court that the Said Southy
Whittington be Overseer of the Said road from Nanseongo bridge to Lodowicks Savanough
&c

Ordered by the Court that Moses Duskey be Overseer of the Road from Lodowicks Savanough to the long
bridge at the head of wickacomoco river
&c

    Ordered by the Court that William Givans, George Givans and Jane Givans Orphans of James Givans Late of
Somerset County dec.d remain in and under the Care of Benjamin Venables untill June Court Next
&c

    To the Worshipfull Justices of Somerset County Now in Court Sitting the humble
petition of John Townsend Jun.r most Humbly Sheweth
          That your petitioner is possest with a tract of Land lying in Naswadox neck through which the County
Road Runs and your petition having a present Occasion to make use of the Same Ground prays your
worships will be pleased to allow your petitioner to move the Same road only about twelve yard farther
and your petitioner will willingly make the New road full as good as the Old one and your petitioner
as in duty bound will Ever pray
&c

          The petition aforesaid being Read and heard and fully understood and Mature deliberation thereupon
had   Wherefore it is Considered by the Justices here that the afd John Townsend turn the Road as by the
petition aforesaid is praid he first making the new Road as good and passable as the old
&c

This is to Satisfie all manner of persons whom it may Concern that I the Subscriber
am freely and heartily Satisfyed that the Honrble Worships of Somerset County may
dispose of my son Charles to Robert Watson Sen.r and his disposeing as wittness my hand
this 6.th day of February 1732/3               Charles Cade
       Whereupon the Court here by the Consent aforesaid binds Charles Cade the Younger son of the afd
Charles Cade unto the aforesaid Robert Watson untill he arrives at the age of twenty one years he being
two Years Old Last November the Said Charles Cade the Younger to Serve his said Master his heirs or
assignes the full term aforesaid during which term the Said Charles Cade the younger his said Master well
and faithfully Shall Serve his Secretts keep his Commandments Lawfull and honestly Every where willingly
shall do and in all things as a good and Faithfull Servant shall demean himselfe towards his
said Master and all his during the term afd
&c    In Consideration of which service the Said Robert
Watson ^present here in Cort^ Covenanteth with the Justice of the Same Court in Court Judicially Sitting on behalfe of the
Said Charles Cade the younger that he the Said Rob.t Watson during the term afd will Learn his said apprentice
