James Jones
wickacomoco Gardian
to Sarah Bashaw
James Jones of wickacomoco in Somerset County planter is appointed as Gardian ^by the Court^ to
Sarah Bashaw a minor (under the age of fourteen years) and Orphan of Andrew Bashaw
Late of Somerset County dec.d    and it is ordered by the Court here that the Said James
Jones taken into his Care and possession all the Estate of the Said Sarah Bashaw both reall and personall and
further it is ordered by the Court here that the said James Jones give Security to Comply with the Gardianship
aforesaid &c     Whereupon the said James Jones with John Caldwell of Somerset County Gent his Security
both present herein Court acknowledged themselves to be Indebted unto the Said Sarah Bashaw in the
Sum of twenty five pounds Sterling each of their Severall ^bodys^ goods and Chattells Lands and tenements to be
made and Levied to the use of the Said Sarah Bashaw her heirs or assignes if it Happen that
the afd James Jones do not Comply with the Law and order in relation to the Gardianship afd
and do not deliver upon all the Estate of the Said Sarah Bashaw both Reall and personall peaceably
and quietly when legally required
&c

James Jones of wickacomoco in Somerset County planter is appointed by the Court
as Gardian to Mary Bashaw a minor (under the age of fourteen years) and orphan
of Andrew Bashaw Late of Somerset County planter dec.d     Whereupon it is ordered
by the Court here that the said James Jones take into his Care and possession all
       the Estate of the Said Mary Bashaw both Real and personall and further it is ordered by the Cort
here that the said James Jones with John Caldwell of Somerset County Gentleman his Security
both present here in Court acknowledged themselves to be Indebted unto the Said Mary Bashaw
in the Sum of twenty five pounds Sterling Each of their bodys Goods and Chattells Lands and tenements
seperately to be made and Levied to the use of the Said Mary Bashaw ^her heirs or assignes^ If it happen
that the aforesaid James Jones do not Comply with the Law in Relation to the Gardianship
aforesaid and do not deliver up all the Estate of the Said Mary Bashaw both real and personall
peaceably and quietly when thereof Legally required
&c

Sitting the humbly petition of Southy Whittington most humbly
Sheweth that whereas there is a public Road that Leads from Nasseogo
bridge to the head of Wickacomoco through your petitioner plantation to the great damage of your
petitioner for though I have been at the Charge of Swinging gates the Gates are flung down the
