Mr John Handy
       Guardian to
Martha Givans
Martha Givans an Orphan being at Full Years for the Choseing of her Gardian Came
hereinto Court in her proper person and prays that she may be admitted to Chose John Handy
of Somerset County Gentleman as her Gardian which is Granted her &c  thereupon the said
Martha Givans present here in Court as aforesaid made Choice of the Said John Handy for her Gardian &c

       Whereupon Its Ordered by the Court here that a Certain Benjamin Venables of Somerset County planter
the person who hath the Estate of the Said Martha Givans both Real and personall in Possession deliver the
same up unto the afd John Handy Gardian as aforesaid And that the Said John Handy receive the Same &c

          It is Likewise further Ordered by the Court here that the Said John Handy give Recognizance
with two Securitys in the Sum of Fifty pounds Sterling for to Comply with the Gardianship aforesaid &c

       Thereupon the Said John Handy with James Dashiell and George Dashiell his Securitys all of Somerset
County Gent present here in Court acknowledged themselves to be Indebted unto the aforesaid Martha
Givans in the Sum of fifty pounds Sterling of their bodys goods or Chattells Lands & tenements Joyntly and
Seperately to be made and Levied to the Use of the Said Martha Givans her heirs or assignes  If it Happen
that the aforesaid John Handy do not Comply with the Law and Orders in relation to the Gardianship
aforesaid and do not deliver up unto the said Martha Givans her heirs or assignes all her Estate both
real and personall that he ad taken into his hands and possession peaceably and Quietly when
she shall arrive at full age to receive the same and required &c


George Dashiell
      Gardian to
Graves Bashaw
Graves Bashaw an Orphan being arrived at full age according to Law
for the Choseing of his Gardian Came here into Court in his proper person and prays
that he may be admitted to Chose George Dashiell of Somerset County Gent as
his Gardian which is Granted him &c    thereupon the Said Graves Bashaw present here in Court as afd
made Choice of the said George Dashiell for his Gardian &c

                Whereupon it is Ordered by the Court here that the Said George Dashiell taken into his Care and
Possession all the Estate of the Said Graves Bashaw both real and personall and that the Said George
Dashiell Give Recognizance in fifty pounds Sterling with two Securitys for to Comply with the Gardianship
aforesaid &c    Thereupon the said George Dashiell with John Handy and James Dashiell his
Securitys all of Somerset County Gent present here in Court in their proper persons acknowledged themselves
to be Indebted unto the aforesaid Graves Bashaw in the Sum of fifty pounds Sterling of
their bodys goods or Chattells Lands or tenements Joyntly & Seperately to be made and Levied to the
Use of the Said Graves Bashaw his heirs or assignes   If it Happen that the aforesaid George
Dashiell do not Comply with the Law and orders in relation to the Gardianship aforesaid and do not
deliver up unto the said Graves Bashaw his heirs or assigns All his Estate both Real and personall that
he had taken into his hands and possion peaceably and quietly when he shall arrive at full age to
Receive the Same and Required &c
