285 twelve Hoggs of the Value of Six Shillings Current Money Each hogg of the goods and Chattells of a Certain Alse Roach then and there found then and there feloniously Stole took and Carry.d away against the peace of the Right Honrble the Lord prop.rty &c and also against the forme of the Act of Assembly in that Case made and provided Rob.t Jenkins Henry P Dom Pr Test Henry Ballard John Finch on the backside of the foregoing bill of Indictment it was thus Endorsed Vizt Ignoramus Jo Donelson foreman
two with force and Armes &c in the County of Somerset aforesd and within the Jurisdicon of this Court twelve hoggs of the Value of Six Shillings Current Mony Each Hogg of the goods and Chattells of a Certain Alse Roach then and there found then and there feloniously Stole took and Carry.d away against the peace of the Right Honrble the Lord Prop.ry &c and Also against the forme of the act of Assembly in that Case made and provided Rob.t Jenkins Henry P Dom Pr Test Henry Ballard John Finch On the back side of the foregoing bill of Indictment it was thus Endorsed Vizt: Ignoramus Jo Donelson foreman Whereas Somerset County had paid and satisfied for a Certain Henry Tomlinson a Servant Crimanall unto the Severall Officers in the Same County according to act of assembly two hundred & twenty Six pounds of tobacco now here at this day to witt the twentieth day of March anno Dom One thousand Seven hundred and thirty two Came here into Court a Certain Charles Curtis of Somerset County planter and undertook for the said Henry Tomlinson to pay the afd two hundred and twenty Six pounds of tobacco to the Use of Said County of Somerset at the Laying of the County Levy next &c Ordered by the Court that Thomas Handy pay unto William Fordred, Catherine Mallison, William Tull Nat Roach and John Turpin son of William Turpin Sixty pounds of tobacco Each for their attendance two days Each as Evidences on behalfe of his Lordship against Thomas Handy they having made Oath to the Same &c Ordered by the Court that Samuel Long pay unto William Fordred, Catherine Mallison, William Tull, Nathan.l Roach and John Turpin son of William Turpin Sixty pounds of tobacco Each for their attendance two days Each as Evidences on behalfe of his Lordship against the said Samuel Long they having made Oath to the Same &c Ordered by the Court that Sewell Long pay unto William Fordred, Catherine Mallison, Will Tull Nathaniell Roach and John Turpin son of William Turpin Sixty pounds of tobacco Each for their attendance two days Each |
