Katherine Mallison in the Peace of God and the aforesd Lord Proprietary then and
there being an Assault made and her the said Katherine then and there beat
wounded and Evil Intreated so that of his Life it was greatly Despaired and other
Enormitys to her then and there offered to the great Damage of her the said Kathrine
against the Peace of the Right Honrble the Lord Prop.ry &c

Test   William Tull, Nath Roach, William Fothered, John Turpin, Katherine
Mallison, Charles Curtes, Henry Tomlinson, Sowell Long     On the backside
of the foregoing bill of Indictment it was thus Endorsed Vizt
Ignoramus John Donelson foreman         Whereupon the afd Thomas Handy
appears to his Recognizance for his good behaviour and appearance ^to answer^ &c    And
thereupon the said Thomas Handy and his Security are Discharged &c

                                           The Jurors for the Right Honrble the Lord Proprietary that
now is &c for the body of Somerset County upon their Oath do present that Samuel
                   Long late of Somerset County planter the first day of October in the Year of our Lord one
thousand Seven hundred and thirty two with force and Armes &c in the County of
Somerset afd within the Jurisdiction of this Court upon a Certain Kathrine Mallison
in the Peace of God and the aforesd Lord propry then and there being an Assault
Did make and her the said Kathrine Mallison then and there beat Wounded and
Evilly Intreated so that of her Life it was Greatly Dispaired and other Enormitys
to her then and there offered to the great Damage of her the said Kathrine
and against the peace of the Right Honrble the Lord proprietary &c
