280 Thereupon Command was given to the Sher of Somerset County that he should take the said Eliza Prise if &c to answer &c and afterwards to witt the Twentieth day march anno Dom One thousand seven hundred and thirty two Came here into Court the Said Eliz.a Prise in her proper person before the Justices of the Same Court and had a hearing of the presentment aforesaid and being Instantly demanded how she would acquitt herselfe of the premisses aforesaid says she is Gilty thereof and makes Oath that a Certain John Patrick in the father and begetter of the Child she Stands presented for and is willing to pay her fine for the fact afd &c whereupon all and Singular the premisses by the Court here seen heard and fully understood Therefore it is Considered by the Court here that the aforesaid Elizabeth Prise pay to his Lordship the Right honrble the Lord proprietary (towards the defraying of the County Charge) for her fine by the Court here upon her Imposed by Occasion of the premisses afd whereof in form afd she is Convict thirty shillings Currant money and that the afd Eliz.a Prise be taken to Satisfie his Said Lordship of the fine afd whereupon the said Elizabeth Prise is ordered to give Security for the Severall Officers their Fees due by Occasion of the premisses afd Whereupon Parker Selby of Somerset County Gent undertakes for to pay the Severall Officers their fees due by means of the premisses afd &c
Thereupon Command was given to the Sherr of Somerset County that he Should take ye said John Patrick if &c to answer &c and afterwards here at this Court holden at dividing Creek in Somerset County aforesaid the twentieth day of march anno Dom One thousand seven hundred and thirty two before the Justices of the Same Court Judicially Sitting Came the aforesaid John Patrick in his proper person according to a Certain Recognizance by him and his pledges in that part before acknowledged and being Instantly demanded how he would acquitt himselfe of the premisses aforesaid above upon him Imposed says that of the premisses aforesaid above upon him Imposed he is Gilty thereof and is willing to pay his fine for the fact aforesaid &c whereupon all and Singular the premises by the Court here seen heard and fully understood and mature deliberation thereupon had It's Considered by the Court here that the aforesaid John Patrick pay unto his Lordship the Lord Proprietary (towards the defraying of the County Charge) for his fine by the Court here upon him Imposed by Occasion of the premisses aforesaid whereof in form aforesaid he is Guilty Convict thirty shillings Currant Money and that ye Said John Patrick be taken to satisfie his said Lordship of the fine aforesaid whereupon ye said John Patrick is ordered to Give Security for the Severall Officers their Fees due by the said John Patrick to pay the Severall Officers fees due by meanes of the premisses afd &c |
