aforesaid above Specified and makes Oath that a Certain Hope Adames is the begetter of the Child She Stands
presented for and is willing to pay her fine for the fact aforesaid

                   Therefore it is Considered that the aforesaid Sarah Hull alias Davis pay to his Lordship the
Right honrble the Lord Proprietary thirty Shillings Currant mony for her fine for the fact afd in the presentm.t
aforesaid Continued whereof She is Convict and that the Same Sarah Hull al.s Davis be taken to satisfie ye
his Said Lordship of the fine afd &.c  whereupon It's ordered by the Court that the Said Sarah Hull al.s
Davis give Security for the payment of the fine afd and all the Officers their fees due by occasion of the
premises afd   Thereupon a Certain Edward Hull present here in Court undertakes for the said Sarah Hull
al.s Davis for to pay ye fine aforesaid and all the Officers their Fees due by means of the premises afd &c

Hope Adams
We of the Grand Jury for the body of Somerset do present Hope Adams in Coventry parish
in the County aforesaid for Getting of a bastard Child of Sarah Hull alias Davis
                                                                       Capell King foreman
                                     Thereupon Command was Given to the Sherr of Somerset County that he should take ye Said Hope Adams
If &.c to answer &.c and afterwards in the same Hope Adams Came hereinto Court in his proper person and being
by the Sherrif set to the bar is thereupon Instantly demanded how he would acquitt himselfe of the premises
afd in manner and form above upon him Imposed says that he Cannot Gainsay the but that he is guilty of the premisses
afd in the presentment afd above Specified and is willing to pay his fine for the fact afd &c

                      Therefore it is Considered by the Court here that the aforesaid Hope Adams pay unto his Lordship the Lord
proprietary for his fine by the Court hereupon him Imposed by Occasion of the premisses aforesaid whereof
in form afd he is Convict thirty Shillings and that the same Hope Adams be taken to satisfie the Said Lord
Proprietary of the fine aforesaid      thereupon it is ordered by the Court here that the afd Hope Adams Give
Security to pay the fine afd and the Severall Officers their fees due by Occasion of the premisses afd thereupon
a Certain Philip Adams present herein Court undertakes for the Said Hope Adams to pay the fine aforesaid &
the Severall Officers their fees due by Occasion of the premisses aforesaid &c

                        It is further ordered by the Court here that the afd Hope Adams Give Good Security
to Save and keep Harmless Somerset County for the time being from all Costs Charges and troubles whatsoever for or by
Reason of the birth maintenance Nourishment and bringing up of the afd Bastard Child begott of the afd
Sarah Hull alis Davis &c
                                              Whereupon the Said Hope Adams with Philip Adams his Security both
present herein Court acknowledged themselves to Owe and Stand Indebted unto his Lordship the Right
honrble the Lord proprietary in ten pounds Sterling Each of their Goods and Chattells Lands or tenements
seperately to be made and Levied for the Use of Somerset County if default be made in the Condition hereunder
written
                                                       The Condition of the above Recognizance is Such that if the above bounden
Hope Adams his heirs Executors or administrators or any of them do and Shall from time to time and at all times
hereafter acquitt discharge & save harmless the Justices of Somerset County & their Successors for the time being as
also ye Inhabitants of the Said County from all Costs Charges and troubles whatsoever for or by reason of ye birth maintenance
nourishing and bringing up of the afd Child & of and from all other Suits Charges troubles & demands whatsoever touching
or Concerning ye Same then ye above Obligation to be void otherwise &c
