274 pounds of tobacco for his Costs and Charges by him about his defence in that part sustained according to the form of the Statute in such Case thereof made and provided and that the aforesaid John Crawford have thereof his execution and the aforesaid Thomas Bluett in mercy &c
came before me the Subscriber One of the Lord proprietarys Justices of the peace for the County oforesaid Somerset and took his Oath on the holy Evangelist of almighty God that the account within against George Martin Merch.t is Just and true and that he never received any part or parcell thereof nor Security nor any thing in Satisfaction for the Same more than what he has Given Creditt for to the best of his knowledge Sworn to the day and Year above before me W.m Stoughton Whereas Information upon Oath by William Jones of Manocan is this day made to me the Subscriber one of the Lord proprietarys Justices of the peace for the County of Somerset that he is Informed that George Martin Marchant of Somerset County is Run Away and is Indebted to him the Sum of thirty Six pounds four Shillings Current Money of Maryland These are therefore in his Lordship the Lord proprietarys Name to Require you Thomas Hayward Clark of Somerset County Court by Vertue of an Act of Assembly in that Case made and Provided to Issue an Attachment against ^the^ Goods and Chattells of the Said George Martin for the Said Sum of thirty Six pounds four Shillings Currency and for such Incident Charges as Shall accrew thereon Given Under my hand and Seal this first Day of March Annoq Dom 1730 Will.m Stoughton To M.r Thoms Hayward Clerk of Somerset County Court Pursuant |
