271 said third tuesday of November to witt the twenty first day of the Same month anno Dom One thousand seven hundred and thirty two at dividing Creeks Came the aforesaid Abraham Ingram by his attorney aforesaid and the Sher of Somerset County to witt Joshua Caldwell Gent returned a Certain Inquisition Indebted before him at dividing Creek in the County aforesaid the eighteenth day of the same month & Year aforesd by the Oath of honest and Lawfull men of his bailywick or County taken by which it appears that the afd Abraham has sustained damage by Occasion of the non performance of the promise and assumption aforesaid further than his Costs and Charges by him about his suit in that part apposed to nine pounds Currant money of maryland and for those Costs and Charges to one pound of tobacco Therefore it is Considered that the aforesaid Abraham Ingram Recover against the aforesaid Edward Adams his damages aforesaid as by the Inquisition aforesaid ^in form afd^ appears as also five hundred and forty pounds of tobacco for his costs and Charges afd to the same 540 Abraham by the Court here of his assent of Increase adjudged which Certain damages in the whole do amount to nine pounds Curr money of Maryland and pounds of tobacco and the afd Edward in Mercy &c
Greeting whereas James Breeman Administrators of all and Singular the goods and Chattells Rights and Creditts of George Gibbs Late of Somerset County Dec.d Lately in our Court to Witt the Sixteenth Day of June Ann Dom one thousand Seven hundred and thirty before W.m Planner Gent and his Associates then Justices of our Same Court at Dividing Creek by Consideration of the Same Court obtained his Execution of a Certain Judgment against Rand.l West as well of a Certain Debt of Sixteen pounds five Shillings Lawfull Money of America as four hundred and one pounds of Tobacco which to the same James in our Court were adjudged for his Damages which he had by Occasion of the Detaining of the same Debt as Also three hundred ^and fifty three^ pounds ^of tobo^ which to the same James in our Court were adjudged for his Costs Charges and Damages which he Sustained by occasion of Delay of Execution of the Debt and Damages aforesd Whereof he is Convict as by the Record and proceeding thereof in our Same Court before our Justices at Dividing Creek Remaining Manifestly appeareth and afterward to witt the aforesd Randall West at Somerset County aforesd made his testiment and |
