27 Whereupon it is ordered by the Court that the aforesaid John Colebourn Give Recognizance in tenn pounds Ster for to Comply with the Covenants afd &.c Thereupon the aforesaid John Colebourn present herein Court in his proper person and acknowledged himselfe to Owe and Stand Justly Indebted unto the afd George Horton in the Sum of Ten pounds Sterling of his goods and Chattells Lands or tenements for the Use of the Said George Horton his heirs or assigns to be made and Levied if default be made in the Condition hereunder Written The Condition of the above Recognizance is Such that if the above bounden John Colebourn do and Shall during the Servitude of the aforesaid George Horton Learn him to read well in the Salter and at the Expiration of his Servitude Give him a new Suit of apparell Over and above his Common wearing apparell and Likewise find and provide for his Said apprentice Sufficient meat drink washing Lodging and apparell mete for such a Servant to have and wear during his Servitude aforesaid then the above Recognizance to be void other wise &c
Land and to make Return as in duty your petitioner shall be always bound to pray to the worshipfull Justices now in Court Sitting The petitioner afd being Read and heard and fully understood and mature deliberation thereupon had Wherefore it is Considered by the Court here that a Commission Issue to the aforesaid John MccGloghlin as by the petition afd is praid and that Thomas Gillis, John Disharoon, Charles Roach and Benjamin Fooks all of Somerset County Gent.m be Commissioners and Execute the Same Commission according to Law &c Mackey a negro man of Robert King of Somerset COunty Gent at the prayer of Mr William Stoughton is adjudged tax free for the future &c Violet a negro wom of Majr Robert King at the prayer of Mr William Stoughton is adjudged tax free for the future &c
disabled and not able to Labour these are therefore humbly to pray that your worship's will Grant such order as in your wisdom you Shall think fitt that your petition may be freed from paying of taxes and your petition shall as in duty bound ever pray &c The petition afd Read and heard and fully understood and mature deliberation thereupon had Wherefore it is Considered by the Court here that the aforesaid Tucker Lloyd be for the future Tax free as by the petition aforesaid is praid &c William Bozman is by the Court discharged from paying of Taxes for the future &c |
