267 Somerset County that he Should take the Said Furnis Odear if &c to answere &c and afterwards here at this Court held at Dividing Creek in Somerset County the twenty first Day of Novemb.r Ann Dom one thousand Seven hundred and thirty two before the Justices of the Same ^Court^ Judicially Setting Came the afd Furnis Odear in his proper person According to a Certain Recognizance by his and his pledges in that part before Accknowledged and being Instantly Demaned how he would Acquitt himselfe of the premises afd upon him Imposed says that of the premises above upon him Imposed he is guilty thereof Whereupon all and Singular the premisses by the Court here seen and fully understood It is Considered by the Court here that the afd Furnis Odear pay unto his said Lordship the Lord proprietary (to the use of Somerset County) for his fine by the Court here upon ^him^ Imposed for and by Occasion of the Premises afd Whereof in forme aforesd he is Convict Six hundred pounds of tobacco and that the said Furnis Odear be taken to satisfie his said Lordship of the fine aforesd Whereupon a Certain James Furnis of the County afd Planter present here in Court undertakes for the fine afd and the Severall Officers fees Due by Occasion of the premises aforesd &c Bridgett Philips appears according to her recognizance and is discharged therefrom
proprietary and gives this Court to understand and be Informed that a Certain Thomas Holdbrook of the County of Somerset afd planter the Eleventh Day of June in the Year of our Lord one thousand Seven hundred and thirty two being the Sabbath Day at the County of Somerset aforesd and within the Jurisdicon of this Court kept and Maintained and Still Doth Keep and Maintain a Certain Comon Disorderly tipling house and at the Same house then and there did Sell to a Certain Mark Noble Large Quantitys of Rum, Punch and other Liquors and at Divers other Days and times as well Before as Since then and there permitted the afd Mark Noble and Divers other Idle and Evill Dispossed persons unknown at Divers times as Well by Ninght as by Day to be and Remain tipling Drinking and Evill Behaving them Selves to the Great Inquietude and Disturbance of all the Leige people of the Said Lord proprietary there inhabiting In Contempt of |
