    Novemb.r Court                1732                    258

    Served the Said Dunkin Murrey for the Space of three Years as by our first Indentures is
    Apprehensive that the Laws of this Province will not force Your Petitioners to Serve any
    Longer then by their Indentures were first Mentioned   Your Worships Consideration in
    this will Oblige Your Petitioners Ever to pray &c                         Adam Greer

       The petition aforesaid being read and heard and fully understood as well on the part of the aforesd
Duncan Murray who was present here in Court as the aforesaid petitioners as Likewise their Severall
allegations on Each party being fully weighed and mature deliberation thereupon had and for as much as
it did appear to the Court here that the aforesaid Adam Greer and Patrick MccDormick had served out their
first Indented time &c
                                   Wherefore it is Considered by the Justices here that the aforesaid Adam Greer and Pat
MccDormick goe free from their said Master Duncan Murray and be discharged from the Same Indenture the said
Duncan Murray now pretends to hold them by as by the petition aforesaid is praid &c


John Crouch
    bound to
Cap.t George Dashiell
    John Crouch (son of Robert Crouch Late of Somerset County planter decd) is bound
by the Court of his Own Consent unto George Dashiell of the same County Gent.m untill he arrives
at the age of twenty One Years he being twelve Years of Age next March the said John Crouch
to serve his said master George Dashiell the full term aforesaid during which term the aforesaid John Crouch his said master
well and faithfully shall serve his secretts keep his Commandments Lawfully and honestly every where willingly shall
do and in all things as a good and faithfull servant shall demean himselfe towards his said Master and all his during the term
aforesaid               In consideration of which service the said George Dashiell present here in Court Covenanteth with the
Justices of the same County in Court Judicially sitting on behalfe of the said John Crouch that he the said George Dashiell
during the term aforesaid will give his said apprentice a years Schooling and when ever the said apprentice arrives at the
age of Sixteen Years and is Inchinable to go to sea that then the Said George Dashiell ^is^ to keep him to the sea during
the term afd and Endeavour to Learn him the art of Navigation and at the Expiration of his servitude Give him
a new suit of Cloaths over and above his Common wearing Cloaths and Likewise provide for his said apprentice
meat, drink, washing, Lodging, and Cloathing and all Other Necessarys sufficient for Such an apprentice to have and
wear during the term aforesaid &c

                                  Whereupon it is Ordered by the Court here that the said George Dashiell Give recogn for to Comply
with the Covenants aforesaid &c
                                                    Thereupon the said George Dashiell present here in Court acknowledged
himselfe to Owe and be Indebted unto the said John Crouch in twenty pounds Sterling money to be Levied of his
body, goods or Chattells, Lands or tenements to be made and Levied to the Use of the said John Crouch his heirs or
assignes   If it Happen the aforesaid George Dashiell do not during the term aforesaid of servitude Give the said
John Crouch a years Schooling and do not keep his said apprentice to the Sea if he is Inchinable thereto when he
he arrives at the age of Sixteen Years and do not Endeavour to Learn him the act of Navigation and do not at the
Expiration of his Servitude ^give him^ a new Suit of Cloaths over and above his Common wearing Cloaths and do not likewise provide
for his sd apprentice meat drink washing Lodging & Cloathing & all other Necessarys sufficient for such an apprentice to have & wear during ye term afd &c
