In his life time before then due and then remaining behind and Unpaid an upon
the Said Accounting the Said Hugh Arbuthnot then and there being found in arrears
to the Said Jeffery Long in the Sum of Six pounds three Shillings Sterling Money
of Great Brittain the Said Hugh Arbuthnot in his Life time in Consideration
thereof upon himself did assume and to the Said Jeffrey Long then and there faithfully
Promised that he the Said Hugh Arbuthnot the Said Six pounds three Shillings to
the Said Jeffrey Long well and faithfully would pay and Content when after he shou'd
be thereunto required   Nevertheless the Said Hugh in his Life and the Said
Nathaniel Foche James Peirce and John Wood after the Death of the Said Hugh
Arbuthnot the Promise and Assumption of the Said Hugh Arbuthnot so as aforesd in
his Life time made no ways regarding but Designing and fraudulently
Intending him the Said Jeffery in his Life time and the Said Samuell Since
the Death of the Said Jeffery to Deceive and Defraud the Said Six pounds three
Shillings or any Part thereof to the Said Jeffery in his Life time or to the Said
Samuel Since his Death have not paid nor hath Either of them paid or otherwise
Satisfied Altho this to do the Said Hugh in his Life time and the said
Nath.l James and John Since the Death of the Said Hugh by the Said Jeffery
in his Life time to witt the first Day of Septemb.r in the Year of our Lord
afd at the County of Somerset afd and by the Said Samuell Since the Death of
the Said Jeffery to witt the first Day of June in the Year of our Lord one thousand
Seven hundred and thirty two at Somerset County aforesd were required but the
Same to the Said Jeffery in his Life and Since his Death to the Said Samuell to
pay the Said Hugh in his Life and the Said Nath.l James and John Since
his Death have altogether refused and the Said Nathaniel James and John
the Same to the Said Samuel to pay do Still refuse to the Damage of him the
Said Samuell twenty pounds Curent Money and thence he Sues &c

Att which said third tuesday of August to witt the fifteenth Day of the Same
Month Ann Dom one thousand Seven hundred and thirty ^two^ being the Day of
the returne of the Said Writt Cometh the Said Sam.l Long by his Attorney afd
and the Sher of Somerset County to whome the foregoing writt was Directed ^likewise^ Comes
and Makes returne thereof to the Court here Endorsed as followeth Vizt

Whereupon the Said Samuel Long by his Attorney afd prays that for as much
as he has Complyed with the Law in order to an Attachment he may have Judgm.t
against the Said Nath.l for he James Peirce and John Wood Adm.rs as aforesd
