of Somerset County planter his Security both present herein Court in their proper persons acknowledged themselves to Owe and Stand Justly Indebted unto his Lordship the right honrble the Lord Proprietary in the Sum of ten pounds Sterling each of their ^Severall^ Goods and Chattells Lands and tenements seperately to be made and Levied for the use of his said Lordship the Lord proprietary his heirs and Successors If it happen the aforesaid Furnis Odear do not make his personall appearance before the Justices of his Lordships County Court of Somerset to be held at dividing Creek ye third tuesday of November next and do not answer unto the Said Lord prietary of and Concerning his begetting a bastard Child of the body of the Said Bridgett Phillips and do not stand and abide the Judgmt of the Court thereon and do depart the Same Court with Leave thereof &c
August in the Year of Our Lord One thousand Seven hundred and thirty two at Somerset County afd in and upon a Certain Thomas Lord in the peace of God and the aforesaid Lord proprietary then & there being an assault made and him beat wounded and Evilly Intreated so that of his Life it was Greatly despaired and other Enormities to him the Said Thomas then and thereof Offered to him ^to^ the great damage of him ye Said Thomas and against the peace of the right honrble the Lord prory &c wherefore ye Said Thomas Bluet for ye Said Lord propry prays ye advice of ye Court &c Thereupon Command was Given to the sher of Somerset County that he should take the Said Samuel Wilson if &c to answer &c and afterwards to witt this Eighteenth day of August anno Dom One thousand Seven hundred and thirty two Came hereinto Court the aforesaid Samuel Wilson in his proper person and being Instantly demanded how he would acquitt himselfe of the premisses afd above upon him Imposed says that of the premisses aforesaid above upon him Imposed he is Guilty thereof whereupon all and Singular the premisses by the Court here seen heard and fully understood It is Considered by the Court here that the Said Samuel Wilson pay to his said Lordship the Lord proprietary for his fine for and by Occasion of the trespass and assault afd whereof in form aforesaid he is Convict two shillings and Six pence Curr money and that the Said Samuel Wilson be taken to Satisfie his said Lordship of the fine aforesaid &c |
