223 was given to the sher of Somerset County that he should take the Said Marsillas Hobbs if &c to answer &c afterwards to witt the fifteenth day of august anno Dom One thousand Seven hundred and thirty two Came hereinto Court in his proper person the aforesaid Marsillas Hobbs and whereupon the Same Marsillas being Instantly demanded how he would acquitt himselfe of the premisses aforesaid says that of the premisses aforesaid Above upon him Imposed he is Guilty thereof and the ^everything^ in the presentment all [illegible] Confesseth &c Whereupon all and Singular the premisses by the Court here being Seen and fully understood It is Considered by the Court here that the aforesaid Marsillas Hobbs pay to this Lordship the Right Honrble the Lord proprietary for his fine by the Court here upon him Imposed for and by Occasion of the premisses aforesaid whereof in form aforesaid he is Convict fifty pounds of tobacco and that the Said Marsillas Hobbs be taken to Satisfie his Said Lordship of the fine aforesaid &c whereupon the Said Marsillas Hobbs is ordered to Give Security for the payment of the fine aforesaid and the Severall Officers their Fees due by Occasion of the premisses aforesaid thereupon Henry Ballard of somerset County Gent present here in Court undertakes for the Said Marsiallas Hobbs to pay the fine aforesaid and the Severall Officers their fees due by Occasion of the premisses afd &c
now held at dividing Creek Came the aforesaid Aberilla Peal in her proper person according to a certain Recognizance by her and her pledges in that part first acknowledged and the said Aberilla being Instantly demanded how she would acquitt herselfe of the premisses aforesaid above upon her Imposed says that of the premisses aforesaid above upon her Imposed she is Guilty thereof and the premisses in the presentment aforesaid Expressly Confesseth & makes oath that a Certain Avery Morgan is the begetter of the Child she Stands presented for &c Whereupon all and Singular the premisses by the Court here seen and fully understood It is Considered by the Court here that the aforesaid Aberilla Peal pay to his said Lordship the Right honrble the Lord proprietary (for the Use of Somerset County) for her fine by the Court here upon her Imposed for and by Occasion of the premisses aforesaid whereof in form aforesaid he is Convict thirty shill.s Currant money and that the Said Aberilla Peal be taken to satisfie his said Lordship of the fine afd &c Ordered by the Court that the Said Aberilla Give Security for the payment of the Severall Officers fees due by Occasion of the premisses aforesaid Whereupon a Certain Thomas Peal of Somerset County planter present herein Court undertakes for the Said Aberilla to pay the Severall Officers their Fees due by Occasion of the premisses &c Likewise the Said Aberrilla is ordered to Give Security for her appearance from day to day during this term to Give Evidence against a Certain Avery Morgan Thereupon the Said Aberilla Peal with Thomas Peal her Security both present herein Court acknowledged themselves to Owe and be Indebted unto his Lordship the Lord proprietary in the Sum of ten pounds |
