    Somerset County ss    June the first day
1732:    Then Came before me one of his
Lordship Justies for the County aforesaid Sa:
Hopkins in his proper person and made
oath upon the holy Evangelist that the
above account both of Debt and Creditt
was Just and true and that he Never
had receved any part or persell thereof
but what he had given Creditt for as
wittness my hand the day above
written                       Sa: Hopkins
 
June 9.th 1732//
                         It being made appear to me James Martin one of his Lordships Justices
of the Peace for Somerset County that the within Named Thomas Richardson is acutally
Run away and is about to remove his Effects out of this Province in order to deceive
his Creditors you are hereby Required to Issue Attachment for the within Named
Samuel Hopkins against the Estate of the within Named Thomas Richardson
in the Usuall forme for the Sum of five pounds Nineteen Shillings and one
penny Currant money and the Incident Costs and Charges according to the form of
the act of Assembly in Such Case Lately made and provided and for your so doing
this Shall be your Warrent as wittness my hand the day and ^year^ above
To Thomas Hayward Cl this                                                            James Martin

In pursuance to an act of assembly of this Province now in force and in obedience
to the aforesd Warrent the following attachment was Issued against the goods and
Chattells Rights or Creditts of the aforesaid Thomas Richardson the tenor whereof
foloweth in these Words Vizt            Somerset ss:  Charles absolute Lord and proprtary
of the Provinces of Maryland and Avalon Lord baron of Baltemore &c  To the sher
of Somerset County greeting we Comand you that you Attach any the goods Chattells
Rights or Creditts of Thomas Richardson Late of Somerset County Schoolmaster
if they Shall be found in your bailywick to the Value of five pounds Nineteen
Shillings and one penny Currant money and five hundred pounds of Tobacco
and when you have the Same Attached or any part thereof the Same in
your Custody safe keep so that you have the Same before our Justies of our
County Court of Somerset to be held at Dividing Creek the third tuesday of June
Next then and there to be Condemned According to act of Assembly to and for
the Use of a Certain Samuel Hopkins Jur unless the Said Thomas Richardson
