192 Anno Dom One thousand Seven hundred and thirty One Came hereinto Court before his Lordships Justices at dividing Creek in Somerset County the aforesaid William Horsey in his proper person & hath a hearing of the Information aforesaid and Says that he is not thereof Gilty and of this he puts himselfe upon the Country and Thomas Bluet who for his said Lordship in that prosecutes Likewise thereupon the aforesaid William Horsey at the prayer of the afd Thomas Bluet (who for his Said Lordship in that part prosecutes) is ordered by the Court to Give Security for his Good behaviour and appearance before his Said Lordships Justices of the next Court to be held at dividing Creek the third tuesday of June next to answer the premisses aforesaid but for want thereof the Said William Horsey is by the Same Court Committed into the Custody of the Sher of Somerset County thereto remaine &c Att which Said next Court to witt the twentieth day of June Anno Dom One thousand Seven hundred and thirty two before his said Lordship Justices Came ^as well ye aforesaid Thomas Bluet who for his said Lordship in that part prosecutes as^ the Said William Horsey in Custody of the Sher (in his proper person) in whose Custody before was Committed thereupon Command was Given to the Coroners of Somerset County that Immediately they should Cause to Come here twelve &c by whom &c who neither &c to recognize &c and afterwards in the Same Court Came Henry Ballard and William Lane Gent.m Coroners of ye County afd and made return that they had there ready twelve &c as aforesaid they were Commanded and thereof Cometh before the aforesaid Justices Last mentioned the Jury and the Jurors of that Same Jury by the aforesaid Coroners being Impannelled and Likewise Called Came to witt Edward Rownd, James MaMorie, Joseph Houston John Atkinson John Webb Robert Mitchell, John Tull, John Broughton, Lazarus Maddox Thomas Collins, John Donnelson and John Records who to Say the truth in the premisses being elected tryed and Sworn upon their Oath did say that the aforesaid William Horsey ^is not Guilty^ of the premisses aforesaid as by the Information above ^against him^ specified whereupon all all and Singular the premisses by the Court here fully understood Therefore it is Considered that the aforesaid William Horsey be quiet and Go thereof without day &c whereupon the aforesaid William Horsey is ordered by the Court to Give Security for the payment of the Severall Officers their fees due by means of the premisses aforesaid but for want thereof the Said William Horsey is Committed into the Custody of the Sher of Somerset County thereto remaine &c the Said sher to witt Joshua Caldwell Gent.m present here in Court took Charge of ye said William Horsey accordingly &c
in ye County of Somerset aforesaid One pair of Blanketts of the Value of four hundred pounds of tobacco of the Goods and Chattells of a Certain William Wye Jun.r then and there found |
