Somerset County Gentleman ^his Security^ both present here in Court acknowledged themselves to Owe and Stand Justly Indebted
unto his Lordship the Right honrble the Lord proprietary of the provinces of Maryland in the Sum of ten pounds ster
Each good and Lawfull money of Maryland England of their Goods and Chattells Lands and tenements Seperately
to be made and Levied ^to the use of his said Lordship^ his heirs and successors if it happen that the aforesaid Avery Morgon do not make
his personall appearance before the Justices of his Lordships County Court of Somerset to be held at dividing
Creek the third tuesday of August Next and do not answer unto his Said Lordship of and Concerning a Certain
presentm.t against him for fornication and ^do not^ Stand and abide the Judgmt of the Court thereon &c then the above
Recognizance to be in full force and vertue &c otherwise &c

 We of the Orphan Jury for the body of Somerset County do present John Evans Sener of Stepney
parish for not keeping Thomas Fowler to his trade assigned by the Court

The Said John Evans being present herein Court says of the premisses aforesaid he is not Guilty
thereof and thereof for tryall putts himselfe upon the Country &c    whereupon the Court having Inspected the record
by which ye afd Fowler was bound to the afd Evans and for as much as it doth appear to the Court that the afd
Fowler is Free   Thereupon it is Considered by the Justices here that the presentment aforesaid be quashed and
that the aforesaid John Evans be thereof acquit &c

James Shirley
 We of the Orphan Jury for the body of Somerset County do present James Shirley of alhollows
parish for not keeping W.m Reynolds according to order of Court but has made Sale of him

The said James Shirley present herein Court in his proper persons says that of the premisses afd
he is noe ways Guilty thereof and thereof for tryall puts himselfe upon the Country &c

       And for as much as it doth appear to the Court here that the aforesaid James Shirley had not abused nor
misused the aforesaid William Reynolds as above against him is Complained &c

             Therefore it is Considered by the Justices here that the aforesaid presentment be quashed and that
the aforesaid James Shirley be thereof acquit &c

 Somerset ss  Be it remembred that upon the twentieth day of June ann Dom One thousand Seven hundred
and thirty two Came hereinto Somerset County Court Thomas Blewet who peosecutes for the said
Lord proprietary in the County aforesaid and Gives the Court to Understand and be Informed that
a Certain Pathenia Taylor Late of Somerset County Spinster the tenth day of March One thousand Seven hundred
and thirty One at the County aforesaid within the Jurisdiction of this Court did Committ fornication and
had born of her body a bastard Child against the peace of the Right honrble the Lord proprietary his Good
Rule and Government and also against the form of the act of assembly in Such Case made and provided
whereof the Said Thomas Bluett for the Said Lord prory prays advise of the Court & that due process of
Law may Issue                                    T Bluett P Dom prory

                      Thereupon Command was Given to the Sher of Somerset County that he Should take the Said
