in the County of Somerset aforesd in and upon a Certain Thomas Duncan in the peace of God and the aforesaid Lord proprietary then and there being an assault did make and the Said Thomas Duncan then and there did beat wounded and evill Intreat so that of his Life it was Greatly dispaired and Other harmes then and there did to the Grievous damage of him the Said Thomas Ducan and against the peace of the right honrble the Lord prory &c L Gale P Dom Pry On the back side of the foregoeing bill of Indictment it was thus Endorsed vizt Ignoramus Edward Rownd foreman Afterwards in the Same Court to witt the twenty first day of march One thousand Seven hundred and thirty One before the Justices of the Same Court at dividing Creek Cometh the Said Samuel Church in his proper person according to a Certain Recognizance by the Same Samuel and his Securityes before Confe acknowledged whereupon the Said Samuel and his Securitys are discharged from ye Same Recognizance and thereupon the Said Samuel is ordered by the Court here that to Give Security for ye payment of the Severall Officers their fees due by Occasion of the premisses afd whereupon John Dennis Jun.r present here in Court undertakes for the Said Samuel Church to pay the Severall Officers their fees due as afd &c
Abraham Heath at Somerset County aforesd found with a Certain knife the ear of the said horse did Cutt and Wound in such manner that the said horse by reason of the said Cutting and wounding was much fatigued and hurt and remains the worse and other Enormitys to him the said Abraham Heath did to the greivous Damage of him the said Abraham Heath and against the Peace of the right Honrble the Lord proprietary &c L Gale P Dom Prop.r Test Mag.r W.m Planner Sarah Hill On the backside of the foregoing bill of Indictment it was thus Endorsed Viz.t Ignoramus Edward Round foreman Afterwards in the same Court to witt this twenty first day of march anno one thousand seven hundred and thirty one before the Justices Justices of the Same Court at Dividing Creek Cometh the said Henry Tomelinson in his Proper person according to a Certain recognizance |
