    March Court                    1731                155

June Court next to be held at dividing Creek in the County afd to prosecute and Give evidence against
the Said William Horsey on a bill of Indictment for felony &c

    Whereupon the Said William Wye Jun.r with William Wye Sen.r his Security both present here
in Court acknowledged themselves to be Indebted unto his Lordship the Lord proprietary in the
Sum of ten pounds Sterling Each of their Goods and Chattells Lands and tenements Severally to be made
and Levied to the Use of his Said Lordship his heirs and Successors if it Happen the Said Will.m
Wye Jun.r do not make his personall appearance before the Justices of his Lordships County Court
of Somerset to be held at dividing Creek the third tuesday of June then next &c
and do not then and there ^prosecute &^ Give Such Evidence as he knows against William Horsey of and Concerning
his felonious Stealling of a pair of Blancketts of the Goods and Chattells of ^him^ the Said William
Wye Jun.r and do not depart the Same Court without Leave thereof &c

Whereupon it is Ordered by the Court that William Wye Sen.r and George Benston
Give Recognizance in ten pounds Sterling Each for their appearance at dividing Creek
the third tuesday of June next before his Lordships Justices of Somerset County Court
then held to Give Evidence against William Horsey on a bill of Indictment for
       felony &c
                                  Thereupon the Said William Wye and George Benston Both present herein Court
       in their proper persons acknowledged themselves to Owe and Stand Justly Indebted unto his
       Lordship the Lord proprietary in the Sum of ten pounds Sterling each of their Severall Goods
       and Chattells Lands and tenements for the Use of his said Lordship the Lord proprietary his
    heirs and Successors if it happen the Said William Wye and George Benston do not make their
personall appearance before the Justices of his said Lordships County Court of Somerset to be
held at dividing Creek the third tuesday of June next and do not then and there Give such Evidence
as they Shall know against the Said William Horsey on a bill of Indictment for felony and do not
depart the Same Court without Lycence thereof &c

James Green being bound by Recognizance for his appearance and Good behaviour at
this Court who did then appear and was then discharged and ordered to Give Security
for the payment of the Severall Officers their fees due by Occasion of the premisses afd
       thereupon a Certain John Crockett of Somerset County planter present here in Court undertakes for to
       pay the Severall Officers their fees due as afd if in Case the said James Green do not pay the Same &c

                                  The Jurors for the Right honrble the Lord proprietary
that now is for the body of Somerset County upon their Oath do present
that Thomas Pingally late of Somerset County Labourer and Catherine
          Pingally late of the Same County Spinster the first day of January in the Year of our Lord
          One thousand Seven hundred & thirty One with force and armes in the County of Somerset aforesaid
          One peice of Gold of the Value of three hundred pounds of tobacco of the Goods and
