147 wheelwright and at the expiration of his Servitude Give him a new Suit of Cloaths over and above his Common wearing Cloths and Likewise give his Said apprentice a Sufficient quantity of tooles as may be Compleat to make Cart wheels and find and provide for his Said apprentice meat drink washing Lodging and Cloathing mete for Such an apprentice to have and wear during the term aforesaid &c Whereupon it is ordered by the Court here that the Said Joseph Cottman Give Security unto the said Owen Odaugh for to Comply with the Covenants aforesaid &c Thereupon the Said Joseph Cottman with Levin Gale Esq.r his Security both present here in Court in their proper persons acknowledged themselves to Owe and stand Justly Indebted unto the Said Owen Odaugh the Younger in the Sum of twenty pounds Sterling each of their bodys Goods or Chattells lands & tenements sepearately to be made and Levied for the Use of the Said Owen Odaugh the Younger his heirs or assignes &c In case the said Joseph Cottman do not Learn his said apprentice during his Servitude to read write and Cypher as Far as the rule of three (Inclusive) ^and the trade of a Cart wheelwright^ and at the expiration of his servitude do not Give a new Suit of Cloaths over and above his Common wearing Cloaths and a Certain quantity of tooles Sufficient to make Cart wheels with and Likewise if he do not provide for his Said apprentice meat drink washing Lodging and Cloathing sufficient for such an apprentice to have and wear during the term aforesaid &c
Serve his secrets keep his Commandments Lawfully and honestly every where willingly Shall do and in all things as a good and faithfull Servant shall demean himselfe towards his said master and al his during ^ye^ term aforesaid &c In consideration of which service the said Richard Mitchell present here in Court covenanteth with the Said Justices of the Same Court on behalfe of the Same Walter Odaugh that during the term aforesaid he will Learn him to read write and Cypher as far as the rule of three (Inclusive) and the trades of a Cordwainer ^and Tanner^ and at the expiration of his servitude Give him a new suit of Cloaths over and above his Common wearing Cloathes and Likewise give his Said apprentice a Compleat set of Cordwainers Tooles and find and provide for his said apprentice Meat drink washing Lodging and apparell mete for Such an apprentice to have and wear during the term aforesaid &c Whereupon it is ordered by the Court here that the said Richard Mitchell Give Security unto the Said Walter Odaugh for to Comply with the Covenants aforesaid &c Thereupon the said Richard Richard Mitchell with John Mitchell his Security both present here in Court in their proper persons and acknowledged themselves to Owe and Stand Justly Indebted unto the said Walter Odaugh in the Sum of twenty pounds Sterling each of their bodys Goods and Chattells Lands and tenements Seperately to be made and Levied for the Use of the said Walter Odaugh his heirs & assignes In |
