memorand.m the plft by Levin Gale her attorney Sued out his Lordships writt of attachment
against the def.t the tenour whereof followeth in these words vizt
Somerset ss  Charles absolute Lord and proprietary of the provinces of Maryland and Avalon
Lord Baron of Baltemore &.c   To the Sherr of Somerset County Greeting we Command you that
You attach any the Goods Chattells Rights or Creditts of John Harristoy Late of Somerset County Gentlemen otherwise
Called John Harristoy of Boston in the County of Suffolk merchant if they Shall be found in Your bailywick
to the Value of Seventy two pounds and Six pence Currant money of Maryland and Eighteen hundred pounds
of tobacco and when you have the Same attached or any part thereof the Same in Your Custody safe keep so that
you have the Same before our Justices of our County Court of Somerset to
be held at Dividing Creek the third tuesday of November Next then and
there to be Condemned According to act of assembly to and for the Use of a
Certain Hannah Waldron Admrx of Joseph Waldron dec.d Unless the said
John Haristoy by himself or his Attorney shall appear and answere
unto the Said Hannah Waldron in a plea that he Render unto her
the Sum of one hundred and forty four pounds one Shilling Currant
money of the province of the Masscakusitts Bay of the Value of
Seventy two pounds and Six pence Currant money of maryland
which from her he Unjustly detaines &.c    According to Law and that
by Good and Lawfull men of your bailywick you make known unto
the person or persons in whose hands you make the same Attachment
that he she or they be and appear before our Justices of our County
Court of Somerset to be held as aforesd to shew Cause if any he She or they
have why the Same goods Chattles rights or Creditts so attached in his
her or their hands ought not to be Condemned and Execution thereof
had and made according to act of assembly in Such Case made and
provided if to him her or them it Shall seem meet and how you shall
Execute this Writt that you make known unto our said Justices at
the day and place aforesaid and have you then and there this Writt
Wittness Samuell Hopkins Gent Chief Justice of our said Court the
Ninth Day of October in the Seventeenth year of our Dominion &.c
Ann Dom one thousand Seven hundred and thirty one

at which said third tuesday of November to witt the Sixteenth day of the
same month ann Dom one thousand Seven hundred and thirty
one being the day of the Returne of the Same Writt Cometh the said
Hannah Waldron by Levin Gale her attorney and the Sher of
Somerset County to whom the foregoeing writt was Directed Likewise
                                                                                              cometh
