appeared before me the Subscriber One of his
Lordships Justices for the County of Somerset
Hugh Porter late deputy to Mr John Purnall sher
of Said County and made Oath upon the Holy
Evangelist of Almighty God that he transacted
all matters to the Said Office as Sher belonging
in Stepney Parish where Richard Driskill
was Resident and that the account by him
Charged against the Said Richard on the behalfe
of Mr John Purnall is Just and true and that Nither the Said Hugh Porter nor any person for him or
Mr John Purnall have received any part or percell of the Same nor hath the Said Richard any account against the
Said Purnall or Hugh Porter or either of them to discharge the Said debt or any part thereof to his Knowledge

M.r Hayward      Issue attachment upon the above account for doing whereof this Shall be Your warr.t as
wittness my hand this 5.th day of October 1731                 
To Mr Thomas Hayward Cler of Somerset County Court

                            Pursuant to an act of assembly of this province in Such Case made and provided and by Vertue of
the above warrent was Issued the following attachment against the Goods Chattells Rights of the abovesaid Richard
Driskill vizt                           Somerset ss
                                                                   Charles absolute Lord and proprietary of the provinces of Maryland
and avalon Lord Baron of Baltemore &.c To the Sherr of Somerset County Greeting we Command you that you attach
any the Goods and Chattells rights and Creditts of Richard Driskill late of Somerset County planter if they Shall
be found in your bailywick to the value of twelve hundred and fifty pounds of tobacco and when you have the
same attached or any part thereof the same in your Costody safe keep so that you
have the Same before our Justices of our County Court of Somerset to be held at Dividing
Creek the third tuesday of November Next then and there to be Condemned
According to act of Assembly to and for the Use of a Certain John Purnall Unless
the said Richard Duskey by himself or his attorney shall appear and asnwere
unto the said John Purnall in a plea of a trespass upon the Case &.c

According to Law and that by Good and Lawfull men of your bailywick
you make known unto the person or persons in whose hands you make the
same Attachment that he she or they be and appear before our Justices of
our County Court of Somerset to be held as aforesaid to shew Cause if any
he She or they have why the Same Goods Chattles Rights or Creditts so attached
in his her or their hands ought not to be Condemned and Execution
thereof had and made according to act of assembly in Such Case made
