    in Certain depositions to the Same annexed so answers         Francis Allen, William Handy

Somerset County ss   Depositions of wittnesses taken upon a Certain tract of Land Called Bear point by
virtue of a Commission from the worshipfull the Justices of Somerset County Court to us directed to Examine
Evidences on behalfe of Isaac Coston in relation to a line of marked trees which divides the Land whereon
John Harris now Lives and the tract of Land in possession of John Tull from the
Land where Isaac Coston Lives this third day of may 1731

Edward Harper of Somerset County planter aged forty years or there abouts
being by us Sworn upon the Holy Evangelist of Almighty God Deposeth
and Saith that a Gum then in his view Standing upon the Edge of a
Swamp of Dividing Creek is the Second Bounder of the tract of Land Where
John Harris now Lives and is the first Bounder that Divides the Land of
John Harris and John Tull from Isaac Costons Land that the said Divisionall
Line about tenn years ago was Layd out and Surveyed by Southy
Whitting^ton^ then Deprty Surveyer of Somerset County at the Request of John
Harris and John Tull who were both Satisfied with the Said Division That
John Harris his part Extended upon a West Line to a Corner marked Redd
oak Standing by the side of a vally on the Eastermost side near the ditch
of the Land where Isaac Coston Lives and Divides John Harris his Land
from John Tulls that the Said Edward Harper in the prsence of John
Harris went along the Divisional Line of Marked trees which was
Confessed and Agreed to to be the Line by the Said John Harris and John
Tull in behalf of Esther Tull Relict of the above Named John Tull and
from thence proceeded along the Said Line to a Corner marked Redd oak
the uppermost Bounder of the Said Divisional Line Standing upon the
Westermost side of the bear Swamp Road near an old Woolf Pitt and
that the Said Severall Bounders and Line trees were marked at that time
in his presence by Consent of John Harris and John Tull Late Due & to
the best of his knowledge and further Saith not                        his

John Harris of Somerset County planter aged fifty five Years or
thereabouts being by us Sworn upon the Holy Evangelist of Almighty
God Confesses and Acknowledges what is in the above Deposition of
Edward Harper Contained to be true and further saith not
                                                                                        John Harris

John Tull of Somerset planter aged twenty three years or thereabouts
Being by us Sworn upon the holy Evangelist of Almighty God Confessess and
Acknowledged what is the above Diposition of Edward Harper Contained
to be true and further Saith not
                                                                                        John Tull

                         Depositions of wittnesses taken upon a tract of Land Called Bear point this
21.st day of June 1731 on behalfe of John Harris Concerning the Bounds of the Said Land by Vertue of
