1731 129 written The Condition of the above Recognizance is Such that if the above bounden Johnson Hill do and shall make his personall appearance before the Justices of his Lordships County Court of Somerset to be held at dividing Creek the third tuesday of March Next to answer unto his Lordship Concerning all such matters and things as shall be then and there objected against him on his Said Lordships behalfe and do stand and abide the Judgment of the Court thereon and in the mean time that he be of the Good behaviour towards his Said Lordship and all his good people then the above recogniz^ance^ to be void and of None Effect Otherwise &c
Thereupon the Said Sarah Mackrill is ordered by the Court here to Give New Recognizance for her appearance at March Court Next for to Give Evidence against the Said Johnson Hill at Suit ^of^ his Lordship &.c Whereupon Joshua Sturges of Somerset County planter present here in Court in his proper person undertakes for the Said Sarah Mackrill and acknowledged himselfe to Owe and Stand Indebted unto his Lordship the Right honrble the Lord proprietary in the Sum of ten pounds Sterling good and Lawfull money of England of his Goods and Chattells Lands and tenements for the Use of his Said Lordship his heirs and Successors ^to be made & Levied^ if default be made in the Condition hereunder written &.c The Condition of the above Recognizance is Such that if the abovesaid Sarah Mackrill do and Shall personally appear before the Justices of his Lordships County Court of Somerset to be held at dividing the third tuesday of march next then and there to Give Such Evidence as she Knows against the Said Johnson Hill of and Concerning his Committing of fornication with her the Said Sarah and do not depart the Same Court without Lycence thereof then the above Recognizance to be void and of none Effect otherwise &.c
Whereupon the Said Thomas Duncan's is ordered by the Court to Give New Recognizance with two Securitys for his Good beheaviour and appearance at March Court Next &.c Thereupon the Said Thomas Duncan with Abraham Smith and Dennis Duskey all of Somerset County planters present herein Court in their proper persons and did acknowledged themselves to owe to his Said Lordship the Right honrble the Lord proprietary in manner and form following viz.t the aforesaid Thomas Duncan in fifty pounds ster and the aforesaid Abraham Smith and Dennis Duskey in twenty five pounds Each Sterling Each Good and Lawfull mony of England of their Severall Goods and Chattells Lands and tenements to the Use of His Said Lordship his heirs and Successors to be made and Levied if default be made in the Condition hereunder written &.c The Condition of the above Recognizance is Such that if the above bounden Thomas Duncan doe and |
