126 Benjamin Fooks do and Shall well and truely Instruct and Learn the Said Sarah during her Servitude to Read well in the bible and to knitt Sew and Spin and Other houswifery and Likewise find and provide for the Said Sarah during the Said term Sufficient and wholeseome meat drink washing Lodging and apparell and all Other Necessarys mete for Such an apprentice to have and wear and at the End of the Said Term Shall find provide for and deliver unto his Said apprentice One new Suit of Cloaths both of Linnen and woollen over and above her Common wearing apparell &.c Then the above Recognizance to be void and of none Effect Otherwise &c
Lawfully and honestly every where willingly Shall doe and in all things as a good and faithfull Servant Shall demean herselfe towards her Said Master and all his during her Servitude afd In consideration of which Service the Said Benjamin Aydelott the Said Comfort Shall during the term aforesaid Learn to read well in the bible and to knitt Sew and Spin and Other houswifery and Likewise find and allow unto the Said Comfort during the Said term Sufficient and wholsome meat drink washing Lodging and apparell and all Other Necessarys meet for Such an apprentice to have and wear and at the end of the Said term Shall find provide for and deliver unto the Said apprentice One new Suit of Cloaths both of Linnen and woollen Over and Above her Common Wearing apparell &.c Whereupon the said Benjamin Aydelott present here in Court in his proper person acknowledged himselfe to Owe and Stand Justly Indebted unto ^the said^ Comfort Warrington in twenty pounds Sterling good and Lawfull money to be Levied of his body Goods or Chattells Lands or tenements for the Use of the said Comfort Warrington her heirs or assignes if default be made in the Condition hereunder written &c The Condition of the above Recognizance is Such that if the above bounden Benjamin Aydelott do and Shall well and truely Instruct and Learn the Said Comfort during her Servitude to Read well in the bible and to knitt Sew and Spin and Other houswifery and Likewise find and provide for the Said Comfort during the Said term Sufficient and wholsome meat drink washing Lodging and apparell and all Other Necessary's meet for Such an apprentice to have and wear and at the End of the Said term Shall find provide for and deliver unto his Said apprentice One New Suit of Cloaths both of Linnen and woollen over and above her Common wearing apparell &.c then the above Recognizance to be Void and of none Effect other wise &.c Ordered that a road be Cleared from the Widdow Donohoes on Peppers Creek to William Burton Jun.r Saw Mill and that Sufficient Bridges of Cuprus be made over the heads of Creeks and Branches in the Said Road where need full all the aforesaid premises to be done by W.m Burton Sen.r and Wm Burton Jun.r by march Court next for which they are to be allowed five thousand pounds of tobacco to be paid next levy Court &c And the Said W.m Burton Sen.r be Overseer of the Said Road &.c |
