Somerset ss   Att a Court of the Right honrble Charles absolute Lord and proprietary of the provinces of Maryland
and Avalon Lord Baron of Baltemore &.c held at dividing Creek in Somerset County by his Said Lordships
Commissioners and Justices of the peace the third tuesday of November being the Sixteenth day of the Same
month and in the 17.th Year of his Said Lords^hips^ dominion &.c  ann Dom 1731

                                              John MccClester of Somerset County Gent.m present here in Court took the
Severall Oaths appointed by Act of Assembly to be taken to the Government with the Oath of Justice and
Subscribed the Oath opf abjuration and test   and thereupon took his place on the bench as above &.c

                   Proclamation being made in Usuall form and the Sherr of Somerset County to witt Joshua
Caldwell ^Gent^ sher makes Return of the pannell of ^the^ Grand Jurors as Followeth viz.t Nicholas Fountain, William
Jones, James Polke, David Polke, GEorge Benston, W.m Turvill Richard Holland Edward Franklin, Joseph Gray
John Lay, John Perkins, Dennis Duskey, Samuel Taylor, Edward Maglamery Lewis Disharoone, James King
W.m Whaley Daniel Lingoe Joseph Jones, Thomas Collings & James Thompson

       whereupon proclamation being made againe in usual form and the Jurors aforesaid so as aforesaid Impannelled
and ^being^ Severally Called Over by their Names do appear as above and thereupon they were Sworn and Charged and
Sent Out to Consider &.c   Soon after the Grand Jurors aforesaid being Impannelled and Sworn and Charged as
aforesaid Return hereinto Court and being Severally Called Over appear and REturn the Following presentments
against Sarah Gorde, Esther Jenkins, Susannah Carter, Elizabeth Davis, William Dulany and Marscillas Hobbs
thereupon the Grand Jurors aforesaid are discharged and ordered that they be allowed five hundred pounds of tobacco
for their publick Service this Court Subject to a deduction according to Law &.c and against the aforesaid Sarah
Gorde, Esther Jenkins, Susannah Carter, Elizabeth Davis William Dulany and Marscillias Hobbs so as afd presented
it is ordered that Capias Issue returnable to next Court &.c


    Joshua Merrill appointed Constable of Pocomoke hundred for the Ensuing Year who took the Severall
Oaths to the Government with the Oath of Constable and Subscribed the Oath of abjuration and test &c

Henry Jerman appointed Constable of Boquetennorton Hundred for the Ensuing Year who took the Severall Oaths
to the Government with the Oath of a Constable and Subscribed the Oath of abjuration and test &c

John Collings appointed Constable of Baltemore hundred for the Ensuing Year who took the Severall Oaths
to the Government with the Oath of a Constable and Subscribed the Oath of abjuration and test &c

William Waters Jun.r appointed Constable of Annamessex hundred for the Ensuing Year &.c
