August Court           1731         125

County abovesaid a Certain Elizabeth Chambers and did acknowledge her selfe to be Indebted unto his Lordship
the Lord proprietary of this province of Maryland in the Sum of ten pounds Curr.t money of the County and
Province aforesaid to be Levied on her Goods and Chattells Lands and tenements for the Use of his Lordship

       The Condition of which Recognizance is Such that if the above Named Eliz.a Chambers be and appear
at dividing Creek court house on the third tuesday of June next Ensueing the present date then and there
to answer ^to^ all Such matters as Shall be Offered to her by his Lordships Justices of the peace for the
County afd in his Lordships behalfe Relating to a breach of peace and of the Good Laws of the Government
being now under the accusation of Felony which if She the Said Eliz.a abide the tryall and not depart the
Court without permission then this Recognizance to be Void and of none Effect Otherwise to be and remain
in full force and Vertue in Law &c         taken P me      Jno Smith

       On which Said third tuesday of June to witt the fifteenth day of the Same month one thousand Seven hundred
and thirty One Came hereinto Court Levin Gale Esq.r who for his Said Lordship in this behalfe prosecutes and the
Said Eliz.a Chambers altho' Solemnly Called Cometh not thereupon the Recognizance afd of the afd Eliz.a Chambers
is by the Court here Respitted untill the Next Court to be held for Somerset County the third tuesday of aug.t

                      Att which Said next Court to witt the third tuesday of august being the Seventeenth day of the
Same month One thousand Seven hundred and thirty One Came againe the Said Levin Gale Esq.r who for his said
Lordship in this behalfe prosecutes and the Said Chambers altho' Solemnly Called Cometh not but makes
default &.c



                              The Court adjourns untill the third tuesday of November ann.o Dom 1731
