112 thereupon Command was given to the Sher of Somerset County that he Should take the said Sarah Mcckrell if &.c [illegible] &.c and afterwards in the Same Court Came the Said Sarah Mackrill in her properson and being Instantly demanded how She would acquitt herselfe of the premisses afd above upon her Imposed Says that of the premisses afd She is Guilty thereof and makes oath that a Certain Johnson Hill is the father of the Child She Stands accused for and in willing to pay her fine for the fact afd Wherefore it is Considered that the afd Sarah Mackrill pay to his Said Lordship the Lord proprietary six hundred pounds of tobacco for her fine by Occasion of the premisses aforesaid above upon her Imposed and that the Said Sarah Mackrill be taken to Satisfie his Said Lordships of the fine aforesaid Whereupon the Said Sarah Mackrill is ordered to Give Security for the paym.t of the fine aforesaid and the Severall Officers their fees due by Occasion of the premisses afd thereupon a Certain Joshua Sturges present here in Court undertakes for the Said Sarah Mackrill to pay the fine afd and the Severall Officers thier fees due by Occasion of the premisses afd &.c Likewise the Said Sarah Mackrill is ordered to Give Security for her appearance at next ^november^ Court to Give Evidence against Johnson Hill at Suit of his Lordship &c Whereupon the afd Joshua Sturges present herein Court undertakes for the Said Sarah Mackrill In the Sum of ten pounds Sterling Good and Lawfull money of England to be Levied of his Goods and Chattells Lands and tenements if default be made in the Condition hereunder written The Condition of the above Recognizance is Such that if the aforesaid Sarah Mackrill do and Shall make her personall appearance before the Justices of his Lordships County Court of Somerset to be held at dividing Creek the third tuesday of November Next and Give Evidence on behalfe of his Said Lordship against the Said Johnson Hill and do not depart the Same Court without Lycence thereof then the above recognizance to be void and of none Effect Otherwise &c
therefrom &c where it is Ordered by the Court here that the afd Johnson Hill Give new Recognizance for his appearance at November Court next to answer as aforesaid &c Whereupon the aforesaid Johnson Hill acknowledged himselfe to Owe and Stand Justly Indebted unto his said Lordship the Lord proprietary in the Sum of ten pounds Sterling Good and Lawfull mony of England of his Goods and Chattells Lands and tenements for the Use of his Said Lordship his heirs and Successors if default be made in the Condition hereunder written The Condition of the above Recognizance is Such that if the above Bounden Johnson Hill do and Shall make his personall appearance before the Justices of his Lordship's County Court of Somerset to be held at dividing Creek the third tuesday of november next to answer unto his said Lordship Concerning as afd &c then the above Recognizance to be Void &c |
