110 such matters and things as shall be then & there Objected against him on his Said Lordship behalfe and Stand and abide the Judgmt of the Court thereon and do not depart the Same Court without Lycence thereof and in the mean time ^that he^ to be of the behaviour towards ^all^ of his Said Lordships Good people then the above recognizance to be void and of None Effect Otherwise &c
County aforesd and within the Jur of this Court with force and armes &.c in and upon a Certain John Riggin in the peace of God and the Lord proprietary then and there being an assault did make and him did beat wound Evil Entreat so that of his Life it was [illegible] and other harmes to him then and there did doe to his Great Damage and Against the peace of the right honrble the Lord proprietary his Good rule and Government whereof the Same Levin for the said Lord proprietary prays Advisement of the Court in &.c L Gale P Dom prory Whereupon the afd Samuel Riggin in his Own proper person appears and being Instantly demanded how he would acquitt himselfe of the premisses afd above upon him Imposed submitts both a protestation of his Innocency because he will not plead with his Said Lordship the Lord Proprietary and putts himselfe upon the favour of the Court &c whereupon all and Singular the premisses the Court here being seen heard and fully understood Wherefore it is Considered by the Court here that the afd Samuel Riggin pay to his Said Lordship the Lord proprietary ^fifty pounds of tobacco^ for his fine by Occasion of the premisses ^above^ upon him Imposed and that the Same Samuell be taken to satisfie his Said Lordship of the fine aforesaid whereupon the Said Samuel Riggin is ordered by the Court here to Give Recognizance for his Good behaviour and appearance at November Court Next &c Whereupon the said Sam.ll Riggin with Henry Fitzwaters his security both present herein Court in their proper persons acknowledged themselves to owe to his Lordship the right honrble the Lord proprietary that is to say the said Samuel Riggin in five pounds Sterling and the aforesaid Henry Fitzwaters in five pounds ster of their Severall Goods and Chattles Lands and Tenements to the Use of his Said Lordships his heirs and Successors if Default be made in the Condition ^here^ under written The Condition of the above Recognizance is Such that if the above bounden Sam.ll Riggin do and Shall make his psonall appearance before the Justices of his Lordship County Court of Somrset to be held at Dividing Creek the third tuesday of November Next and answered unto his said Lordship Concerning all Such Matters and things as shall be then and there objected against him on his Said Lordships behalfe and stand and abide the Judgment of the Court thereon and do not Depart the Same Court without Lycence thereof and in the mean time that he be of the behaviour towards |
