Thomas and Benj.a Purnall
                     petition
     To the worshipfull Justices in Court Sitting the petition of Thomas Purnall
and Benjamin Purnall humbly Sheweth that whereas there is a tract of
        Land on the Seaboard Side Called mount Ephraim Containing two thousand acres the bounds thereof
being Somewhat decayed your petitioner's prays Your worships to appoint commissioners to Examine
Evidences to the bounds aforesaid and Your petitioner as in duty bound Shall pray

                   The petition afd being read and heard and fully understood wherefore it is Considered that a Commission
Issue to the afd Thomas Purnall and Benjamin Purnall as by the petition aforesaid is praid and
that William Lane, Nathaniel Hopkins Sen.r James Rownd and Edward Rownd all of Somerset County
Gentlemen be Commissioners and Execute the Same Commission according to act of assembly in Such Case made
and provided &c


Archibald Deal
         Pet.n
          To the worshipfull Court now Sitting the humble petition of Archibald Deal
Humbly Sheweth that whereas he hath a negro woman Quite past her Labour
                         and been afflicted this Long time humbly prays that She may be tax free and as in
duty bound Shall ever pray                                       Archibald Deal

                The petition afd being read and heard and fully understood wherefore it is Considered by
the Court here that the aforesaid Negro woman belonging to aforesaid Archibald Deal be tax free for
the Ensuing Year &c


Jacob Cordery
     pet.n
         To the Worshipfull court of Somerset County now Sitting the humble petition
of Jacob Cordery Humbly Sheweth that whereas Your petitioner has an old negro
       man altogether part his Labour and has not been able to do any thing for three Years past
Therefore your petitioner humbly prays Your worships to Set the Said negro Tax free and Your petitioner
as in duty bound Shall ever pray

                   The petition aforesaid being read and heard and fully understood and Mature deliberation thereupon
had wherefore it is Considered by the Court here that the aforesaid Negro man of the aforesaid Jacob Cordery be tax
free for the Ensuing Year &c


William Cord
     pet.n
    The Humble petition of William Cord Humbly Craveth that your worships would be pleased
to take me One Tax of the List it being an Old negro which is an absolute Cripple and
hath been so this Eight or ten Years our humble petitioner doth pray Your worships to Grant me
this petition as I Shall Ever pray                     W.m Cord

             The petition aforesaid being read and heard and fully understood and mature deliberation
thereupon had wherefore it is Considered by the Court here that the afd William Cord be discharged
for the future from paying of Taxes for the aforesaid negro as by the pet.n afd
