                     Att a Court of the Right Honrble Charles absolute Lord and Proprietary of the
provinces of Maryland and Avalon Lord Baron of Baltemore &.c held at dividing Creek in
Somerset County by his Said Lordships Commissioners and Justices of the peace the third tuesday
of August being the Seventeenth day of the Same month and in the Seventeenth Year of his
said Lordships dominion &.c Ann.o Dom 1731

Joseph Brittingham

To the worshipfull Court now Sitting the humble Petition of Joseph Brittingham
humbly Sheweth that whereas the bounder of a Certain Tract of Land Called
mount hope is precarious and desires that Your worships would appoint Commissioners
to ascertain the Said bounds and as in duty bound Shall pray                        Jos: Brittingham

    The petition aforesaid being read and heard and fully understood wherefore it is Considered that
a Commission Issue to the aforesaid Joseph Brittingham as by the petition aforesaid is praid and that
James Martin James Round, John Holland and John Miller all of Somerset County Gentlemen
be Commissioners and Execute the Same Commission according to act of assembly in Such Case
made and provided &c


Edward North
       petn
    To the Worshipfull Justices of Somerset County in Court Sitting the petition of
Edward North of the Said County        Humbly Sheweth

             That your petitioner is possessed of part of a tract of Land in the County afd Called Horseys
Bailywick whose boundarys depends on a tract of Land Called Kellums Folly Your petitioner
further begs Leave to Shew that the boundarys that of the Said Kellums Land whereon your
petitioners defends are decayed and Like to be Lost and the Wittnesses to prove them Ancient &
Infirm   wherefore your petition prays Your worships will be pleased to Issue Commission to Such
persons as you Shall think proper to Examine Wittnesses to perpetuate the boundarys of the
Said Land called Kellums Folly according to the form of the act of assembly in that Case made and provided
and he will pray                                                   Edward North

    The petition aforesaid being read and heard and fully Understood and mature deliberation thereupon
    had   wherefore it is Considered that a Commission Issue to the afd Edward North as by the
    petition afd is praid and that Levin Gale George Dashiell, Thomas Gillis and James Mackmorie
    all of Somerset County Gent be commissioners and Execute ye Same Commission according to Law &c
