                     The Jurors of the Right honrble the Lord proprietary of this province
that now is upon their Oath doe present that Jane Persons, Late of allhollows
Parish in Somersett County Spinstres the fear of God before her Eyes not having
    but being seduced and Inticed by the Instigation of the devill on the first day of march anno
    Dom One thousand Seven hundred and twenty seven Eight with force and Arms &.c at allhollows
    Parish in the County afd within the Jurisdiction of this Court three silk handkerchiefs of the
    Value of Eighteen pounds of tobacco each handkerchiefe four pounds of Murtle wax of the value
    of six pounds of tobacco Each ^pound^ three pounds of Bees wax of the value of four pounds of tobacco
    Each pound of the proper goods and Chattells of a Certain Robert Holland then and there being and found
    then and there feloniously did steal take and Carry away against the peace of the Right honrble the
    Lord proprietary his good rule and Government &.c      Dashiell Prosecutor for LPy

        On the Backside of the foregoeing bill of Indictmt it was then Endorsed vizt Not true Jno Humphrys foreman
   
                   Whereupon the afd Jane Persons prays that her appearance may be recorded to Save herselfe
    and Securitys from a Certain Recognizance of Bail Entered into for her appearance this Court &c thereup:
    the said Jane Persons appearances is Recorded and She and her securitys discharged &c

                      Whereupon the said Jane Persons is ordered to give Security for all the officers their fees
    due by Occasion of the premisses upon the recognizance and Indictmt afd thereupon a Certain W.m
    Fasitt of Somersett County Gent.m Present herein Court undertakes for the said James Persons to pay
    the severall officers their fees due by means of the premisses afd &c

Sarah Gordan
 Whereas a Certain Sarah Gordon being bound Over by Recognizance for her appearance
at this Court to Answer his Lordship Concerning her ^Committing fornication and^ having born of her body
a bastard Child Contrary to Law &c    the afd Sarah Gordan present herein Court and being
by the Sherr Sett to the barr is thereupon Instantly demanded how she would acquitt herselfe of the premisses
afd Says that she is Guilty thereof and is willing to pay thirty shillings for her fine afd
for the fact afd, Wherefore it is considered by the Court here that the afd Sarah Gordan be taken &c
to Satisfie the fine of thirty shillings ^afd^ for the Use of the County afd  thereupon the Said Sarah
Gordan is ordered to give Security for fees upon the premisses afd  Thereupon a Certain Mathew
Dorman of the County afd undertakes to pay all the officers their fees due by occasion of the premisses
afd

 We of the Grand Jury for the body of Somersett County do present John Hailes Late of
Somersett Parish in Somersett County Carpenter for Committing adultery with a Certain Sarah Gordin
on or about the first day of June anno Dom One thousand Seven hundred and Twenty Seven at
          Somersett Parish afd in the County afd and on her body did begett a male Child against the Peace &.c
