June Court                   1728                         91

By Virtue of a Commission to us Directed from Somersett County Court Bearing date the 22d day of
march 1727/8 and Notes being set up and we being Quallified by Maj.r William Planner the above
Nam'd Moses Tillman did Take his oath on the holy Evangalist of almighty God that the above
depossition is Just and True to the Best of their Knowledge    Taken before us the day and Year

             The Deposition of John Tillman Aged about thirty seven
Relating to the Bounds of a Certain tract of Land Called Buck ridge Belonging to Edw.d Beachamp
The Deponient saith Last aprill he was Hunting for the Bounder of the afd Tract of Land
and saith that this Uper marked white oake was not marked then & further saith Not

Thriveing tree and that it hath Been Marked Some Time Since Last aprill to the

                         Robert Givan and James Weatherly all of Somrsett Co.ty Gent.m Greeting Know ye
that we have appointed you or any three or two of you to be our Commissioners to Examine Evidences
on behalfe of a Certain Christopher Nutter & W.m More in relation to ye Bounds of three
tracts of Land Lying in ye Co.ty afd Called Ross: Chelse & Munmuth  We therefore require
you or any three or two of you att some time & Place as to you or any three or two of you
Shall Seem Conveniant you meet on the afd Land Called Ross: Chelse and Mummuth (you first
haveing taken your Oath on the Holy Evangelist of Almighty God according to act of assembly
in Such Case made & provided) & there Cause to Come before you or any three or two
of you all such Evidences as Shall be to you or any three or two of you Nominated
by the Said Complaniant (or Deft if any) & yt you Examine them upon their Corporall
Oaths to be by you or any three or two of you Administred on ye Holy Evangelist of
Almighty God in the presents of the Complaniant (or deft if any) touching the truth
