88 pounds of tobacco and for taking him up the said John Edwards is ajudged to serve the Said William Jones four full months the Said thirty days for Runaway time and the Said four months for tobacco paid amounts in the whole to five full months which said five months Service is adjudged full Satisfaction for runaway time afd and all trouble and Charges in taking up and to Commence at the Expiration of his allready Servitude &a
side of Pocomoke River in the Indian Town near Snow hill the Other two tracts Lying on the sea side, One tract Called Simpleton Lying on the north side of a tract of Land Called Durram house Granted unto Henry Bishop the Other tract is that whereon your Petitioner Now Liveth the bounds whereof of the afd tracts of Land are Like to become precarious and uncertaine your petition prayeth that your worships would be pleased to proceed and appoint Commissioners pursuant to an act of assembly made to take the probat of Such Evidences as shall be to them produced in order to preserve the bounds of the afd tracts of Land in perpetuall memory and your petitioner as in duty bound shall pray The petition afd being read and heard and mature deliberation thereupon had Wherefore it is Considered by the Justices here that a Commission Issue to the afd William Selby as by the Petition afd is praid and that John Purnall ^Edward^ James Rownd, Johnson Hill, and Jno Beavins all of Somersett County Gentlemen are appointed Commissioners to Execute the Same Commission according to Law &c
a new Suit of Cloaths and a young mare and Young Cow and Likewise find and provide for his said apprentice the full term of his Servitude meat drink washing Lodging and Cloathing mete for Such a Servant to have and wear Whereupon It's Ordered by the Court that the Said John Purnall give Security to Comply with the Covenants afd. Thereupon the Said John Purnall with Edward Rownd his Security both present herein Court acknowledged themselves to Owe and Stand Justly Indebted unto the Said William Abbott in the Sum of twenty pounds sterling good and Lawfull money of England |
