       June Court               1728            89

England to be Levied upon their bodys goods or Chattells Lands or tenements for the Use of
the said William abott Abbott well and fa his heirs and assigns well and faithfully to
be made and Levied if default be made in the Condition hereunder written

                      The Condition of the above Recognizance is Such that if the above Bound
John Purnall Juner do well and faithfully Learn the said William Abbott the trade of
a weaver and to read well in the bible during his Servitude and at the Expiration of his Servitude do
give him a new Suit of Cloaths a young Mare and Young Cow and Likewise find and provide
for his Said Servant meat drink washing Lodging and Cloathing during his Servitude mete for
Such a Servant to have and wear &c then the above Obligation to be void and of none Effect
Otherwise to Stand and remain in full force and Vertue &c

    To the worshipfull Court now sitting the humble Petition of Dennis
Hudson and Abraham Smith sheweth that whereas John Nicholson
Executor of Charles Nicholson has the Estate of Jeremiah Pointer dec.d who
was bound to Elizabeth Nicholas and we your Petitioners having the heirs of the Said Jeremiah
humbly Pray that they may have an Order for the said Estate and your Petitioner as in duty bound
shall pray            Dennis Hudson   Abraham Smith

             The Petition afd being read and heard and mature deliberation thereupon had &.c
Wherefore it is Ordered by the Justices that the afd John Nicholson Executor as afd deliver
up unto the afd Dennis Hudson and Abraham Smith the Petitioners all the Estate of Jeremiah
Pointer dec.d Lett it be of what sort soever And further it is ordered by the Justices that the
afd Dennis Hudson and Abraham Smith take into their Care and Custody all the Estate of the
said Jeremiah Pointer dec.d and it securely Keep and the same deliver up againe quietly
and Peaceably to the Right and Lawfull heirs of the afd Jeremiah when he she or they shall
arrive at full age to receive the same &c            and that W.m Fasitt and Edwd rownd Gent.m be dischared
form a Certain Recognizance Entered into for the preservation of the Estate of the afd Jeremiah Pointer &c

John Racklife son of Elias Racklife aged fourteen Years the second day of
february Last is bound ^by the Court of his own Consent^ unto William Kennett untill he arrives to the age of twenty
one the said John Racklife to serve the said William Kennett the full term of
time afd   In consideration of which Servitude by the afd John Racklife to be faithfully performed
the said William Kennett present here in Court undertakes for to Learn the afd John Racklife
the trade of a Shoemaker and to read well in the bible and to write during his servitude and
at the Expiration of his Servitude to give him a new Suite of Cloaths and a gunn  And to
