County Court of Somersett to be held at dividing Creek the third tuesday of March then next
to answer unto John Esome of a plea of trespass upon the Case &c   And that thereof
he should not fail &c      And the afd Jn.o Esome by Levin Gale his attorney proceeded
against the afd Mary Esome in the plea afd as followeth vizt

     The action Brought against you in somrsett County Court By Jno Esome
is for the recovery of a debt of twenty pounds Currt Mony which was due to him from the
dec.d Benj.a Esome on whose Estate you administred   Levin Gale P Quer Pledges & Jno Doe R Roe

A Copy of the foregoeing Cause of Action was Made and sent to be Left at the
Last Place of Abode of ye afd Deft According to Law &c

       Att which said third tuesday of March to witt the Ninteenth day of the same Month
Anno Dom One thousand seven hundred and twenty seven being the day of the return
of the said writt Cometh the afd John Esome by his attorney afd and the sherr of somersett
County to whome the foregoeing writt was Directed Likewise Cometh and Maketh
Return thereof ^to^ the Court here Endorsed in these words following viz.t

                   Non Est Inventus Short note Left at ye deft.s Last place of abode   P Fran: Allen sherr
          Whereupon the afd John Esome by his attorney afd prays that forasmuch as he has Complyed
with the Laws in Order to an attachm.t he may have Judgm.t against the said Mary Esome
for his damages by way of attachment according to act of assembly &.c  Whereupon for that
it seem's to the Court here that the said John Esome has Complyed with the Law as order
alledged,
                            Therefore it is Considered by the Court here the Ninteenth day of March
anno Dom One thousand seven hundred and twenty Seven that the afd John Esom recover
against the afd Mary Esom admrx of the afd Benjamin Esome the Sum of Twenty
pounds Currant mony his ^damages by occasion of the premisses^ debt afd as also all Costs and Charges by the said plft [illegible]
and Expended about his Suite by way of attachm.t against the goods Chattells Rights
285   and Creditts of the said Benjamin Esome at the time of his death according to act of assembly
in Such Case made and provided &c
