thereof his Execution &c

   Joshua Adge
 Command was given to the Sherr of Somersett County that he should take Joshua
Adge late of Somersett County Planter if he should be found in his bailywick and
him should safe keep so that he might have his Body before the Justices of his Lordships
County Court of Somersett to be held at Dividing Creek the third tuesday of March ^then^
next to answer unto Adam Muir of a plea of trespass upon the Case &c and that thereof he should
not fail &.c       And the afd Adam Muir by Levin Gale his attorney Complaineth against the said
Joshua Adge in the plea afd as followeth viz.t
                                                                         Somersett fs:   Joshua Adge Late of Somersett County
Planter was attached to answer unto Adam Muir of a plea of trespass upon the Case &c

    And whereupon the same Adam by Levin Gale his attorney Complains that whereas ye afd Joshua the
tenth day of Novem Anno Dom One thousand seven hundred and twenty seven in somersett County within
the Jur of this Court was Indebted to the same Adam in the sum of four pounds Eight Shill.s Currt Mony
as by Acc.t here within Court produced may appear and so thereof Being Indebted the said Joshua in
Consideration thereof afterwards to witt the same day and year afd at the County afd & within the
afd Jurisdiction upon himselfe assumed and ^if^ the said Adam then and there faithfully promissed
that he when afterwards he should be thereto requested he the afd sum of four pounds Eight Shills
Currt Mony to the same Adam wou'd well and faithfully Content and pay Nevertheless the said
Joshua his promise and assumption afd in form afd made not regarding but plotting and fraudulently
Intending him the same Adam in that part Craftilly and Subtilly to defraud and Deceive
he the afd Joshua the afd Sum of four pounds Eight Shillings Currt Mony or Any part thereof
to the same Adam he hath not paid or him for it in Any wise Contented altho' the same to do the
afd Joshua afterwards viz.t the same day and year afd at the County afd and within the afd
Jurisdiction by the same Adam was requested but he the same hitherto to do hath altogether
Refused and Still doth refuse whereby the same Adam say he is worse and hath damage
to the Value of ten pounds Currt Mony and thereof he Brings this Suite &c
