A Copy of the foregoeing declaration ^& act^ were made and sent to be served on the deft with the writt in the plea
afd             Att which said third tuesday of March to witt the Ninteenth day of the Same Month anno Dom
one thousand seven hundred and Tewenty Seven being the day of the Return of the said Writt Cometh the
said Jno Housman by his attorney afd and the Sherr of Somersett County to whom the foregoing writt was
directed Likewise Cometh and maketh Return thereof to the Court here Endorsed in these words vizt
                                                       Cepi Corpus declaration delivered in time p Fran: Allen sher

                Whereupon the said Jno Liptrott in his Own proper person appears and thereupon the
said John Liptrott att the prayer of the plfts attorney afd is adjudged to give Speciall bail to the
action afd   Whereupon a Certain Allexander Marcy of somersett County planter present herein Court
undertakes for the said John Liptrott that if in Case the said John Housman shall Recover Judgmt in
the Plea afd against the said Jn.o Liptrott or that the said Jno Liptrott Shall be therein Convict that then
he the said Jn.o Liptrott shall pay the Condemnation of the Court thereupon or Render his Body to the Custody
of the Sher of Somersett County in Satisfaction thereof or that he the said Allexander Marcy will do
it for him
                      And whereupon the afd John Liptrott in his own proper person Comes and defends
the force and Injury when &c and saith that he Cannot gainsay the action afd nor Can he Say but that ye
said Jno Housman Ought to recover his damages by Occasion of the Nonperformance of the promise and
assumption afd to Six pounds Curr.t mony and the Same declaration in all the words before Expressly
Confesseth
                         Therefore it is Considered by the Court here the Ninteenth day of March ann.o Dom one
thousand Seven hundred and twenty Seven that the afd Jn.o Housman Recover against the afd
309   John Liptrott Six pounds Curr.t mony his damages afd in form afd Confesed as also three hundred &
Eight                                       pounds of tobacco for his Costs and Charges by him about his suite in that part
Expended to the same Jno Housman by the Court here of his assent adjudged & the afd deft in Mercy &a

 Command was given to the Sherr of somersett County that he Should take William
Twyford late of Somersett County in Stepney Parish if he Should be found in his Bailywick
and him should safe keep so that he might have his Body Before the Justices of his
       Lordship's County Court of Somersett to be held at dividing ^Creek^ the third tuesday of March ^then^ Next to answer unto
John Housman of Kent County upon Delaware of a plea of trespass upon the Case &.c and that thereof
he Should not fail &c
                      And the said Jn.o Housman by George Dashiell his attorney Complaineth against the said
William Twyford in the plea afd as followeth viz.t

             Somersett County fs   William Twyford Late of Somersett County in Stepney Parish was attached
to answer unto John Housman of Kent County upon Delaware of a plea of trespass upon the Case &.c

             And whereupon the same John P.r George Dashiell his attorney Complains that whereas
the same William on the twenty Eighth day of June Anno Dom one thousand seven hundred & twenty five
at Kent County afd viz.t at Stepny parrish in somersett County afd within the Jurisdiction of this Court
was Indebted unto the same John in the sum of Seven pounds twelve Shills & three pence half peny for
sundry goods and Merchandizes by the Especiall Instance and request of the same William by the
same John sold and Delivered as p.r acc.o hereto annext may in Court appear & the same Will.m
